Hero Xpulse 200T
Starting off the list is the Hero Xpulse 200T. It’s priced at Rs 1,20,650 (ex-showroom Delhi) and packs a 199.6cc single-cylinder oil-cooled motor. The setup belts out 17.83 bhp and 16.15 Nm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Xpulse 200T is a more commuter-friendly version of its off-road-oriented sibling. It gets an LED headlight and a Bluetooth-compatible instrument cluster as well. Hero offers the Xpulse 200T in three colours - Panther Black, Sports Red and Matte Shield Gold.

The Xpulse 200 (2-valve version) has also made it to the list with its asking price set to Rs 1,23,250 (ex-showroom Delhi). It packs the same engine and features as its sibling, Xpulse 200T. That said, the Xpulse has been a favored option for off-roading by both, beginners as well as seasoned riders. It gets long-travel suspension and spoked wheels wrapped in dual-purpose rubber. So, if you are inclined towards off-roading, the Xpulse 200 (2-valve) is still on sale.
Hero Xtreme 200S
Another offering from Hero that has made it to the list is the Xtreme 200S. It retails at Rs 1,30,614 (ex-showroom Delhi) and gets a 199.9cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that makes 17.8 bhp and 16.45 Nm. Compared to its other 200cc siblings, the Xtreme 200S is inclined towards commuter riding with a dash of sportiness. Hence, it gets faired bodywork with an upright riding position. Hero offers the Xtreme 200S in three colours: Sports Red, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200
Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been around for a long time now and is one of the popular models in its segment. It’s powered by a single-cylinder 199.5cc liquid-cooled motor that makes 24.13 bhp and 18.74 Nm. It costs Rs 1,39,667 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Pulsar NS200 rides on conventional telescopic forks and a monoshock. It gets a semi-digital instrument console and is available in four colours.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
One of the most feature-loaded motorcycles in its segment, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is also a viable option. It costs Rs 1,39,690 (ex-showroom Delhi) and houses a 197.75cc single-cylinder mill that dishes out 20.5bhp and 17.25 Nm in Sports mode. Yes, it gets three riding modes (sport, urban and rain). Not just that, TVS has also equipped the Apache RTR 200 4V with adjustable Showa front suspension and a rear mono-shock, SmartXonnect, and adjustable brakes and clutch levers.
