Starting with the entertainment part, the motorcycle comes equipped with a Boom! Box GTS infotainment system which comprises two, 5.25-inch speakers. This system can be connected to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth while it also offers AM and FM. As for the ride and motorcycle-related information, all of it is displayed on a full-colour TFT with a voice recognition system. It’s also loaded with electronic aids like cornering ABS, cornering traction control, electronically linked braking, vehicle hold control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Propelling the Road Glide Special is a humungous 1,868cc, V-twin engine that produces 92.5bhp and 158Nm and comes linked to a six-speed gearbox via belt drive system. It also gets a slipper clutch for preventing the rear wheel from locking up under aggressive downshifting. Tipping the scales at 387kg, it incorporates a large 22.7-litre fuel tank for lesser fuel stops on the ride. As for the cycle parts, the Road Glide Special rides on a 19-18-inch alloy wheel combination that is suspended by Showa’s 49mm telescopic forks with dual bending valve and dual springs. Bringing it to a halt is a single 300mm disc at both ends.
