    Style awsum. Its catches lots of attraction. People keep staring.


    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox awsum. Was confused what to buy pulsar 220f or re 350 electra or zmr 2014. Now company gives 70k kms warranty. And bajaj pulsar220 f only 30k. I own a pulsar 180 2006 model. But it has very high maintainence requirement. And service of auth bajaj station is miserable. No parts awailable most of time. My uncle have re 350 electra old model its awsum. But my friends who bought re new model have lots of issues regarding oil leaks and engine vibration. So on 7 nov i bought new zmr 2014 its awsum. Have driven only 150 kms. So did not go above 60 km/hour. There r no issues. Unlike old zmr gear shift is also smooth.


    Ride quality & handling awsum. Pillion seat is bit high. My mom faces difficult while geating on it. But thats understood.


    Final words awsum. Feels like heaven while riding. Truely a tourian bike.


    Areas of improvement its give real time milege. It refresh every 10 sec. Sometime it shows 19 or 100 or 73 etc mostly its between 39 to 59 im ahm city traffic. Its useless practically. Company should provide milege per trip. Thats somewhat useful.

    Hi my name is ashish raina. I bought my karizma zmr 2014 on 29th sept 2014. Filled the tank full. Till 06th oct 2014 i had driven 233 km and tank is only half empty. Exact mileage is yet to be calculated but from current stats it looks i am getting the mileage of 33kmpl considering the fact that first service is yet to be done after 2 months or 500/750kms. I am driving it on an avg speed of 35-40km/hr as per the instruction given by the mechanic at the time of purchase. Only issue i am having with my bike is that while driving the weight of my body comes on my shoulders and it runs down till my hands. I had pulsar 180 before this bike and the sitting style is little bending as compared to pulsar. I accelerated my zmr till 60km/hr and it was stable and steady. Overall its a black beast!!!

  • Zmr 2014 review after 7000 kms

    Style in terms of styling zmr is second to none, though r15 fairing looks much better but zmr gives a big bike feel with excellent design of fairing.


    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox engine is calm and definitely more refined than previous zmr, but there are vibrations are high speed but you have admit all bikes does. Gear shift is smooth as always though sometimes while changing the gear in hurry neutral appears from nowhere. Fuel economy of bike is excellent. I am getting 37.6 In city(bangalore) and 42.8 On highways. I think for 223cc bike its a decent figure.


    Ride quality & handling ride quality of bike is good but pillion seat is not very comfortable. Cushioning of rider seat is good. Seating position is new zmr is little aggresive compare to old zmr but overall its very decent. Handling of all hero bikes are always above par. Braking of bike could be its usp. Doesnt matter on what speed you are running you will always be comfortable while sudden braking. To be frank ride quality of bike and handling is really excellent. (Strictly not recommended for short height person).


    Final words this is a great bike in this price tag. A good looking performance oriented tourer.


    Areas of improvement head lamps are weak, fit and finish needs lots of improvement.

    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox: too smooth to shift



    ride quality & handling: very nice and safe drive.



    Final words: excellent bike, value for money, the bike has weight in the specification but you won't feel its heavy when your on it. Its worth buying.

    Cost of the bike was reasonable service intervals was low cost and mileage fetches me about 40kmpl in city and 45kmpl in highways.. But problems in this bikes is vibrations and rear indicators keeps getting break.. Cost of it is high and cost of disc pads is damn high.. I would expect some good model from hero motocorp make us feel Indian models are the best when compared other companies.. Please give your best don't make us fool by this kind of models.. You don't have any bikes xtreme is also flop model.. Get into competitive world hero motocorp.

    What's not to love Best mileage Top speed is equal to ktm rc 200 Comfortable as your bed .Just a little vibration in high speeds , numbs your hands within 2 hours.Speedy shifts and high acceleration are more than pulsar bikes . Engine is faithful and won't disappoint you in the worst situations.Hero,thanks.

    Check the brakes before riding, please don't use cheap tyres as they might slip in heavy turns as the bike's lengthy. This bike is my luck . It will never ever fail to give u a happy ride

  • Pathetic bike

    This is the most pathetic bike. Parts are no genuine. I bought it in April 2015 from mahim hero centre, mumbai.. In first 20 days i found out the chassis was crack (wasn't it well tested?) anyways that might be a common thing. But, as for this bike.. Since 3 years i had fuel pump replaced almost 3 times and i had to import this part as they either don't have the part available or sell it 3 times the amount, and now my fuel injector is spoiled. I travelled whole city, visited all so called genuine hero parts dealers but no one has karizma zmr's fuel injectors which is unique, because of this my engine gets stops while running and i have to side and wait 15-20 mins to restarts or else it wont start. If its fully digitalised then there should had been battery backup power and double wiring. My battery broke once, thank god it was in city and i found a mechanic to replace a new battery immediately, but once on ghats my bike stopped, whole electric supply was off, i had to hire a tow truck to transport the bike to nearest service centre where they said whole wiring system was damaged due to short circuit and had to replace the whole wiring system. The amount of money i have spent in damaged parts i would had bought two bikes from that money. There is no petrol reserve indication also, 4 months after buying the left front white led went off. The back indicator breaks almost every month. No parts are available in the market, no front mirrors, no indicators, no led, nothing is available for this bike not even front rare mirrors which always gets jammed and when try to exert pressure to open the part breaks and mirror gets detached.. Replacement is of whole part, one led gone you have to replace the whole 2 led because its one piece. Even back-light red glass broken, no part of the same available and the replacement is of whole because it's one piece.

    Style it's have hero style.


    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox performance good, fuel 40 km/ltr. Some difficult to neutral gear.


    Ride quality & handling ride quality is good, handling in above 120 is some difficult.


    Final words good bike for budget and mileage.


    Areas of improvement rear side in raining season the sand will come to the seat because the rear tyre is not covered.

  • Great bike perfect price

    Usually 200 cc bikes will focus on speed and performance only but lacks in mileage but in this case bit different karizma zmr 225cc which has been concentrated on all aspects which is useful to ride all day 6 sensors good performance i have driven top speed of 155km/hr and unbelievable mileage of 40-45kmpl seriously (80-100 km/hr) its fuel injection type so performance is high usually i will take my bike long ride all weekends at-least 500km ride which fits for long ride also in my aspect i will give 5 star

    When i purchased it i noticed a engine sound it have some abnormality when i asked about it in a local workshop they said it was knocking.Also have high vibration and a side pulling problem.Also i got only 10000km life for chain and socket.Poor lighting system.The engine get over heated on a small drive cycle

    Cost of the bike was reasonable service intervals was low cost and mileage fetches me about 40kmpl in city and 45kmpl in highways.. But problems in this bikes is vibrations and rear indicators keeps getting break.. Cost of it is high and cost of disc pads is damn high.. I would expect some good model from hero motocorp make us feel Indian models are the best when compared other companies.. Please give your best don't make us fool by this kind of models.. You don't have any bikes xtreme is also flop model.. Get into competitive world hero motocorp.

    What's not to love Best mileage Top speed is equal to ktm rc 200 Comfortable as your bed .Just a little vibration in high speeds , numbs your hands within 2 hours.Speedy shifts and high acceleration are more than pulsar bikes . Engine is faithful and won't disappoint you in the worst situations.Hero,thanks.

    Check the brakes before riding, please don't use cheap tyres as they might slip in heavy turns as the bike's lengthy. This bike is my luck . It will never ever fail to give u a happy ride

  • Pathetic bike

    This is the most pathetic bike. Parts are no genuine. I bought it in April 2015 from mahim hero centre, mumbai.. In first 20 days i found out the chassis was crack (wasn't it well tested?) anyways that might be a common thing. But, as for this bike.. Since 3 years i had fuel pump replaced almost 3 times and i had to import this part as they either don't have the part available or sell it 3 times the amount, and now my fuel injector is spoiled. I travelled whole city, visited all so called genuine hero parts dealers but no one has karizma zmr's fuel injectors which is unique, because of this my engine gets stops while running and i have to side and wait 15-20 mins to restarts or else it wont start. If its fully digitalised then there should had been battery backup power and double wiring. My battery broke once, thank god it was in city and i found a mechanic to replace a new battery immediately, but once on ghats my bike stopped, whole electric supply was off, i had to hire a tow truck to transport the bike to nearest service centre where they said whole wiring system was damaged due to short circuit and had to replace the whole wiring system. The amount of money i have spent in damaged parts i would had bought two bikes from that money. There is no petrol reserve indication also, 4 months after buying the left front white led went off. The back indicator breaks almost every month. No parts are available in the market, no front mirrors, no indicators, no led, nothing is available for this bike not even front rare mirrors which always gets jammed and when try to exert pressure to open the part breaks and mirror gets detached.. Replacement is of whole part, one led gone you have to replace the whole 2 led because its one piece. Even back-light red glass broken, no part of the same available and the replacement is of whole because it's one piece.

    Style it's have hero style.


    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox performance good, fuel 40 km/ltr. Some difficult to neutral gear.


    Ride quality & handling ride quality is good, handling in above 120 is some difficult.


    Final words good bike for budget and mileage.


    Areas of improvement rear side in raining season the sand will come to the seat because the rear tyre is not covered.

    Usually 200 cc bikes will focus on speed and performance only but lacks in mileage but in this case bit different karizma zmr 225cc which has been concentrated on all aspects which is useful to ride all day 6 sensors good performance i have driven top speed of 155km/hr and unbelievable mileage of 40-45kmpl seriously (80-100 km/hr) its fuel injection type so performance is high usually i will take my bike long ride all weekends at-least 500km ride which fits for long ride also in my aspect i will give 5 star

    When i purchased it i noticed a engine sound it have some abnormality when i asked about it in a local workshop they said it was knocking.Also have high vibration and a side pulling problem.Also i got only 10000km life for chain and socket.Poor lighting system.The engine get over heated on a small drive cycle

  • Looks of sports amd feel of cruize

    Style awsum. Its catches lots of attraction. People keep staring.


    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox awsum. Was confused what to buy pulsar 220f or re 350 electra or zmr 2014. Now company gives 70k kms warranty. And bajaj pulsar220 f only 30k. I own a pulsar 180 2006 model. But it has very high maintainence requirement. And service of auth bajaj station is miserable. No parts awailable most of time. My uncle have re 350 electra old model its awsum. But my friends who bought re new model have lots of issues regarding oil leaks and engine vibration. So on 7 nov i bought new zmr 2014 its awsum. Have driven only 150 kms. So did not go above 60 km/hour. There r no issues. Unlike old zmr gear shift is also smooth.


    Ride quality & handling awsum. Pillion seat is bit high. My mom faces difficult while geating on it. But thats understood.


    Final words awsum. Feels like heaven while riding. Truely a tourian bike.


    Areas of improvement its give real time milege. It refresh every 10 sec. Sometime it shows 19 or 100 or 73 etc mostly its between 39 to 59 im ahm city traffic. Its useless practically. Company should provide milege per trip. Thats somewhat useful.

  • Black beast zmr 2014

    Hi my name is ashish raina. I bought my karizma zmr 2014 on 29th sept 2014. Filled the tank full. Till 06th oct 2014 i had driven 233 km and tank is only half empty. Exact mileage is yet to be calculated but from current stats it looks i am getting the mileage of 33kmpl considering the fact that first service is yet to be done after 2 months or 500/750kms. I am driving it on an avg speed of 35-40km/hr as per the instruction given by the mechanic at the time of purchase. Only issue i am having with my bike is that while driving the weight of my body comes on my shoulders and it runs down till my hands. I had pulsar 180 before this bike and the sitting style is little bending as compared to pulsar. I accelerated my zmr till 60km/hr and it was stable and steady. Overall its a black beast!!!

  • Zmr 2014 review after 7000 kms

    Style in terms of styling zmr is second to none, though r15 fairing looks much better but zmr gives a big bike feel with excellent design of fairing.


    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox engine is calm and definitely more refined than previous zmr, but there are vibrations are high speed but you have admit all bikes does. Gear shift is smooth as always though sometimes while changing the gear in hurry neutral appears from nowhere. Fuel economy of bike is excellent. I am getting 37.6 In city(bangalore) and 42.8 On highways. I think for 223cc bike its a decent figure.


    Ride quality & handling ride quality of bike is good but pillion seat is not very comfortable. Cushioning of rider seat is good. Seating position is new zmr is little aggresive compare to old zmr but overall its very decent. Handling of all hero bikes are always above par. Braking of bike could be its usp. Doesnt matter on what speed you are running you will always be comfortable while sudden braking. To be frank ride quality of bike and handling is really excellent. (Strictly not recommended for short height person).


    Final words this is a great bike in this price tag. A good looking performance oriented tourer.


    Areas of improvement head lamps are weak, fit and finish needs lots of improvement.

    Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox: too smooth to shift



    ride quality & handling: very nice and safe drive.



    Final words: excellent bike, value for money, the bike has weight in the specification but you won't feel its heavy when your on it. Its worth buying.
