Hero 2016 Karizma ZMR Summary
The Hero Karizma ZMR is the Gurgaon-based two-wheeler maker’s flagship motorcycle. It was originally launched as just the Karizma in 2003 and has been on sale in various avatars until 2016, when it was dicontinued.
The Karizma has just been relaunched in a BS-4 avatar, but the styling remains the same as the model that was discontinued a couple of years ago. This design wasn’t very well accepted, but the company hopes to drive sales through value and its wide sales and service network.
It is powered by a 223cc single cylinder fuel injected engine that produces 20bhp and 19.7Nm – no changes in those figures. A five-speed gearbox and chain drive complete the transmission. The bike is underpinned by a diamond frame chassis with conventional suspension, telescopic front shocks at the front and gas-charged twin dampers at the rear. It gets a 276mm disc brake in front and 240mm disc brake at the rear.
Standard features include a fully digital instrument cluster with dual trip meters as well as a clock. Hero offers the Karizma ZMR in four colours-red, black, white and orange. For Rs 2000 over the price of the standard ZMR, you can have one in a dual-tone paint scheme. The ZMR competes with the Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.

This is not a bike for me, it's like a friend for me, and it's comfort is very nice. Mileage is good. This bike is near to my heart. This bike is a 223 cc, which has a very powerful engine. It is very good, for pillion seat comfort.

The old zmr

The old zmr is one of the best bikes and my favourite too i daily ride zmr and its fuel efficient too i want a new bike like that but heros design in 21 century is like alien motorcycle so if hero wants his reputation again he create the whole new designs in his bike and speed and special quality because hero quality is cheapest like bajaj.

The best combo of power and comfort

I have had this bike for more than 5 years now and it has continuously given me off whatever i have expected of it. It is stylish and also fuel efficient keeping in mind its engine capacity. It's great for long trips and is very reliable also. The visual appeal feels so meticulously designed and cherishes the eyes.. All in all if it's in your budget you should definitely go for it.

This bike is very comfortable and powerful. Amazing average. But body is some vibrations and noise. Stability is very awesome in high speed. Suspension system ags is very smooth and reliable. The karizma zmr v2 is overall good some small issues have a any bike. Digital meter is very helpful for vehicle information.

use syntactic Shell/Motul 10w 40 oil and Shell/Power/speed petrol. Ethanol based normal petrol may damage fuel pump sometimes and it's cost around 14k oil change every 60 days and service monthly .

I got this bike two years before and it has been an amazing experience as it has good power better than r15 v2.0 it can go upto 130 and mileage is around 30 but pick up is amazing not so flat tyres still the balance and road grip is amazing. You can take this bike on long rides but in traffic engine gets heated too much which is a issue so avoid traffic little and you can ride it easy . No short handle so you can have relaxed ride on roads no issue with bike . It works nice but vibration is there .

When i bought this this bike it was good. after sometime engine started showing problems like oil leakage . poor mileage, worst looks i have ever seen. hero should only make 100cc bikes. Brakes are not upto the mark.it lacks stopping power at high speeds.tyres are also not good. rear tyre often slips on wet surfaces.

Zmr good look but worst performance

Bike appearance is super but performance is very worst i am using this bike zmr since 2015 so far i have spent more than 45000 rs for servicing and spare parts continuously oil leakage from the engine so far they can't stop that problem (southern auto service centre) poor servicing from hero for zmr and there is no experienced service person for zmr servicing.

My Karizma ZMR 2011 Still looks far better than this one. Riding Posture is fabulous.Gives avg of around 40 kmpl .Servicing and Maintenance is at the higher side.current ZMR doesn't look attractive at all . even LED tail lamp or earlier bike was better.Hero - Please work on it guys, or ull lose the Brand Karizma.you guys can also increase the engine capacity to 300-350 , add new features , ABS , Slipper Clutch , New eye catchy design Fearing, and compete with Ninja 300, KTM RC 390, Yamaha R3. Please come up with the better Product.The Brand Karizma means a lot to many people who have Ridden The Karizma and later The Karizma ZMR.

Too Little, Very Late. Outdated bike.

This bike was the best India made bike, within 1 lac price range, 8 years ago when i bought it. But there are zero improvements and the cosmetic changes seems like a desperate attempt. Its not even too little too late, its just nothing. 0 marks to Hero's Research and Development team.Hope hero does something better in premium segment like bajaj. Awaiting a miracle.

My 2011 karizma black zmr is lot better than 2018 zmr.....

This new zmr 2018 is not good as old one. I have 2011 karizma black zmr which has very great attention & attraction, even today. The product has been discontinued in 2016 but nothing seems to be new, may be the new paint. Hero should have done at least little cosmetic changes to attract customers but they don't seem showing enough interest to karizma brand. The brand karizma was impressive when hero & honda was together, but not anymore. They have wasted two years without making any improvement to karizma brand. At one point, karizma is king but now the rivals have easily overtaken the brand supremacy. May be in future, i wish hero will do better design with karizma as hero have lot of potential with them.
