Hero 2.5R Xtunt is expected to launch in India in June 2025 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,65,000 to ₹ 1,70,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to 2.5R Xtunt are Matter AERA, Honda CB200X & Bajaj Pulsar N250. Another bike similar to 2.5R Xtunt is Yamaha RX 100 which is launching in January 2027 in India.
Hero MotoCorp took the wraps off something radical at the EICMA 2023 in the form of the Concept 2.5R Xtunt. As its name suggests, it is positioned as a stunt bike and comes with all the equipment to suit its purpose. A year after its showcase, the patent image of its production version has also been leaked.
The concept motorcycle, and the leaked production version, seem to be based on the upcoming Karizma XMR 250. From the leaked image of the bike, it is clear that the 2.5R Xtunt is built around the same chassis as the Karizma XMR 250. It also shares the engine casings, which makes us believe that the same 250cc liquid-cooled engine will power this new naked bike.
Currently, there aren’t a lot of details on the 2.5R Xtunt, but we expect it to hit the production line in the first half of 2025. With this motorcycle, the Gurgaon-based manufacturer wants to compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
