Cost effective bike... Love to go long rides
6 years ago
Nidhin
It is a cost effective vehicle. In this budget it gives maximum performance.
Advantages:
1.Price-the price is comparatively low considering other 150cc bikes
2. Mileage-it gives mileage between 55-60
3. Power- since it is a 150cc vehicle it gives the power according to that.
4. Service- the service is prompt and effective
Disadvantages
1. Tyre size-the rear tyre size is not up to standard. It may make more big
2. Sound- the sound should make little bit louder
i used this bike as a daily commute and also for long trips. And i never felt any difficulties in both uses. I recommend it for who start with a 150 cc bike.

Old school looks but for just 69000rs this 150cc is great

Ajinkya
I was confused between unicorn & achiever . But finally end up on achiever .
I feel it is most under rated in 150 cc. Yes it looks old school but trust me it is so good on road and pocket too. Got it for just 69000rs. I must say engine is so refined. And handling is good too. Rear tire is thin but still it gives confident and return mileage of 52kmpl to me. I had 2 servicing and only changed engine oil once of 300rs. Easy on pocket in maintenance. Only con i feel ( not for me ) is its looks. But for 69000rs its really really good.

Don't think...... Hurry and own this. It's a good time one to buy a 150cc bike. I just pass my bike with 1500 kms. Ride quality, handling, economy, style and quality of the bike parts are perfect. I give 4 stars because of the seat. Seat material quality is poor but the riding position is awesome. If you change the seat material for your choice then it will be a great commuter motor cycle....

An amazing family bike. Not good for racing.

An amazing bike. I am getting 55 kms per ltr on 150 cc engine on city area condition. Never tried on nh. Good for tall riders. Basically, the bike is for age group 40 and above who ride maximum of 40 -60 kms per hour, you will be on trouble if you are on above 60 kms speed and you need sudden braking. Low maintenance bike. Ensure frequent change of engine oil and other maintenance as per the schedule. Engine oil change recommended at every 6000 kms on hero recommended grade oil. Long seat also an added advantage for small family.

Hero company is really like heros
Shubham
I'm impressed. The achiever handled varied conditions at our test venue with a range of shiny, slippery tiles, patches of cobble-style stones and concrete of various flavours just to keep things interesting. In the middle of which were missing cobbles and tiles, the old missing (small) drain cover etc. All this was swallowed without any drama. The suspension is almost plush - i need a good clean road to verify this - and i think hero has chosen a good set-up for the role.'

I bought this bike after lot of research. As i have to commute around 30km daily, comfort is the main concern. I selected this among v15, unicorn. Purchased after test drive. Riding is so smooth and road grip is too good at high speeds also. Can go upto 80kmph without any fear of lose of control. Only con i found is back is not gas suspension which is slightly uncomfortable on very bad roads. Seat is more comfortable and larger than any other bike in market. Giving mileage around 52-55kmpl at average speed of 60-70kmph. If you are looking for comfortable family bike, don't miss it....

Tips for other riders
First 3000 Kms just go under the speed of below 60kmph to set the engine. If u done it, then the bike gives you the mileage of 50+ in local and 55+ in long drives. I got 52 in local and 56 in long drives.

Hero achiever 150cc - poor market value
Senthilkumar
Buying experience is good, they recommend lot of things but nothing there. Engine sounds over noise, when inform the service centre they always compromise complaint, they never accept, i decided to sell, buyers are afraid to buy due to market value very very poor even performance also and hero show room people also not recommend for exchange offers, i was amazing how hero groups made these bike and sold. I love hero group bikes except this model.
