Wonderful ExperienceI Love My Hero CB Deluxe, Fuel-Efficient and Reliable

It is an excellent, cost-effective choice for urban commuters. For simplicity and everyday use, these qualities combine to create a motorcycle that is ideal for riders looking for just that without unnecessary frills. It may not offer the performance or any of the cool toys advanced drivers crave, but it does a great job keeping city dwellers comfy and on-point while getting from A to B. If you are looking for a utilitarian commuter bike on a budget that ticks all the right boxes, then yes - The Hero CB Deluxe deserves to have your preference. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with the MC Commute test unit and I would say it makes a strong value proposition for anyone in search of an affordable, convenient hour-eating commuter bike.

      Tips for other riders

In order to have a smooth running of your Hero CB Deluxe it is important to follow these key maintenance tips: change the engine oil every 1,000-1,500 km; check for proper tire pressure conditions; clean or replace the air filter every 3000kms; perform regular checks on drum brakes among others. Make sure bolts and nuts are tight; clean the chain after every 500km –1000km with lubricant while making sure that you wash your bike frequently so that it does not develop rust from which you can detect early spotting issues beforehand. In addition, check the battery for charge and corrosion in the electrical system, schedule routine servicing at authorized centers then use genuine Hero parts during replacements only. It is advisable to take these steps if you want to ensure good performance, safety, and lifespan.

disappointing experience a review of the cd deluxe bike

      Kishor Sasemahal

I am using hero CD Deluxe from last 10 months and really terrible experience. After using the CD Deluxe bike for 10 months, I am compelled to share my disappointing experience. While initial impressions were positive, the bike's performance and durability quickly deteriorated, leaving me dissatisfied. In this review, I will outline the various issues I encountered during my ownership of the cd deluxe bike.
      Build quality and durability:
The build quality of the cd deluxe bike left much to be desired. Despite regular maintenance and care, the bike's components began to show signs of wear and tear within a few months. The frame seemed flimsy and susceptible to damage, and the overall construction did not inspire confidence in its longevity. The quality of materials used was questionable, as I experienced issues with loose bolts and frequent part failures.
      Performance issues:
The CD Deluxe bike's performance was a major letdown. The engine lacked power and struggled to deliver adequate acceleration. Even on flat roads, the bike struggled to maintain a consistent speed. The gears often failed to engage smoothly, resulting in jerky shifts and an overall uncomfortable riding experience. Moreover, the bike's fuel efficiency was significantly lower than advertised, leading to frequent and costly refueling.
      Ride comfort:
Riding the CD Deluxe bike for prolonged periods was an uncomfortable experience. The seat provided minimal cushioning, causing discomfort and fatigue. The suspension system offered inadequate shock absorption, resulting in a jarring ride over bumps and potholes. The overall ergonomics of the bike did not prioritize rider comfort, making long rides a challenging endeavor.
      Reliability and maintenance:
The CD Deluxe bike proved to be unreliable, with frequent breakdowns and mechanical issues. The electrical system experienced numerous failures, leading to problems with the lighting and indicators. The brakes required constant adjustments and lacked the necessary stopping power, compromising safety. Furthermore, finding spare parts and reliable service centers proved to be a frustrating task, adding to the overall inconvenience.

This journey start when i have no more vehicle, I am very confused how I purchase a good bike, my friend's uncle in hero Honda showroom, he suggest me that I buy. Hero Honda cd deluxe bike is best bike, I am still using last 16 years. No more worried about it. Some time I feel that I am using 150 cc bike. Very good mileage, best in class. I hope hero will also same bike like cd-deluxe.

1.My father had bought it in 2006 and given to me for daily commute. It cost around 40000 inr at that time. And hero honda staff was supportive.2.I am daily using it through my college days and even after 8 years of completing my college.I have used it for more than 40000 km till now.Very smooth in riding , no major maintenance till now except engine valve changed after 10 years.3.Looks are not so attractive .It is good for daily city/rural commute and gives very good mileage of 50 kmpl.If you are having liking for looks, don't buy it.It is a functional bike and good for small material movement also.4.Regular oil filling and preventive maintenance /services will help you keep up and bike will not let you loose the confidence. Its chain has not become loose till now.Just changed rear tyre before 2 years, which costed 1500 rs.It is very low maint bike and may be just cost you 200 rs per month.5. Pros:you can buy if you want a functional bike cons: no cons for those who needs bike with low cost of ownership. I will give 4 out of 5 ratings

My journey with hero bike a long 8 years and honda 3 years of ownership

      Prasad

I have bought it in 2011 and recently bought honda activa .Still i have it. The bike still giving good mileage of 60+ in city even it is 8 years old. Bike looks still showroom maintained one. For this great mileage i have thanked to khaleel who is running a small bike repairing shop. He repairs any kind of problem of bike. That's reason any day u can see minimum 30 -40 customer in his repairing shop to repair their bike. My friend change bike every 3-4 years interval. Bcoz of bike issue due to not proper bike service and mileage issue. If ur mechanic does not solve particular problem then it cause another problem. I have seen so many times mechanic does not seek particular problem and simply saying its common problem of bike as it ran already 20k or 3-4 years old .He can solve any problems of bike special recommends proper bike service in 2000km interval for great life of bike. Which he charged only 600 rupees. We have one cb shine which my brother bought in 2018 giving mileage of 50 Maximum even after 6 month or 1 year. And previously i have honda shine which i used for 3 year giving mileage maximum 50 and surprisingly it reduced to 40-42 after 3 year and u have to change chain kit every 10k and honda parts are Very high costly .He recommend Me to purchase splendor or passion plus or cd deluxe. I bought cd deluxe as u can get in less price with same engine capacity slightly differ in bhp. In service center they send new guy Which have joined recently or less knowledge even don't know the proper parts name of bike bcoz he is taking a photo and saying this parts i have changed or u have to change and taking a good amount for simple even in free service . They have charged for nearly 2k as they have to earn money Fulfil monthly sell target or their senior would have said to do like that. I got to know when i went there with khaleel bhai ( my friend and running a bike mechanic shop) after asking the reason for changing parts they said its our duty as i have to follow my senior order . I sold my honda shine because honda parts are very costly. And less mileage its better to ride honda activa instead of that which u can ride so in cool mind and carry goods easily and if you are getting 40 to 45 mileage. He recommends to purchase hero bike than honda bike as its parts u can get in cheap and bike does not make u problem even in road like skidding , suddenly turn off engine, extra tok tok sound from engine mileage issue. I have saying this to daily commuter who rides in only city very rare means only twice or thrice in highway in a year but if you are riding for fun purpose this is not the bike for u in less than 70k if you think u hard earned money does not go waste. If u buy any bike at the end u ask the mileage. Platina and ct100 are two best bike in mileage but i wouldn't recommend as bajaj bike have engine heating issue if you ride continue 30km. I have a personal experience when i ride my friends ct 100 for only 35 km nonstop it's only 2 years old bike i got feared as hot air of engine touching my both leg. I got afraid i thought engine get seized if will ride even 5 km also bcoz i have to go 52km as i stopped in only in 35km then again started after 30 minutes.U can check both bajaj bike and hero riding at least 30km non stop. Honda bike have good pickup good engine but very less mileage. This is my personal experience. Thanks for ur support.

disappointing experience a review of the cd deluxe bike
