Got mileage of

60 kmpl

The glamour looks largely the same as before. It has a nice design which works well with the red and black scheme, something which has become ubiquitous on this hero.

The body now gets the graphics treatment with a new chequered scheme. The compact headlight gels well with the body panels and the body coloured mirrors, alloy wheels and black finished exhaust look good too.

Quality is good and there is nothing to complain when it comes to the fit and finish of this machine.

The instrument cluster takes heavy inspiration from the passion and is an analogue digital unit. A large speedometer sits in the centre with a lcd display on the right side that carries trip and odometers along with a fuel meter in between them.

Switch-gear is the same as other hero and honda bikes; there is no engine kill switch.

The hero glamour is available in two flavours, one with a carburetor while the other with a fuel injected system, the latter being costlier and not in demand. Both models use the same 125cc, single-cylinder, 2-valve engine.

This motor outputs 9 hp of peak power at 7000 rpm and 10.35 nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm.

The engine is mounted in a sleeping layout which curbs vibrations and the power-plant is very refined and runs extremely smooth. The gearing is on the taller side and the bike lacks low-end pick up.

What really blunts the performance of the glamour is the high weight of 129 kgs. The mid-range is where it shines the most but the hero glamour lacks top-end punch.

Top speed is 90 km/hr which is less as 100cc bikes are able to do the same top speed.

The 4-speed gearbox offers smooth shifts.

While the glamour isn't very slick in performance, it does deliver on the mileage front, returning in excess of 60 km/l.

The hero glamour uses a double-cradle frame and the suspension is the traditional telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. The suspension is on the softer side and handling isn't the glamour's forte.

It does offer a good ride quality which makes it easy to pilot on bad roads. The bike is stable thanks to its weight but doesn't inspire confidence to ride fast.

With drum brakes at the front and rear, the glamour offers decent stopping power.

There is also the option of a front disc brake.

The hero glamour might be a hot seller but it isn't as impressive as its popularity suggests. The bike doesn't have as much performance as you would expect from a 125cc motorcycle.

Priced at rs 65,740 in mumbai (on-road), the hero glamour appeals when you consider it's a proven product which will get you from point a to b in comfort while also delivering good mileage.

I love the sound, the speed, and the mileage best in this rate and light bike, I have been using it since 2020 and love this, the same sound nothing looks like a new bike. Hero servicing is so nice, you should have to take care of your bike every 2 months and I suggest you purchase this bike if you are a regular employee of any company

  • Hero glamour xtech not so Glamours on riding, No riding comfort

    Rajesh

Hero Glamour Xtech is not worth buying. The price is very high for such an ordinary bike. The shock absorber is not so good. Less color options. My riding experience is just average. I told them about the shock absorber problem, to the service proplem, but They did nothing. Never buy this bike, no comfort.

I have been using the glamour 125 for 3 years and in me the pros are that it provides Good mileage, it has a sporty and Stylish design, and It is easy and Comfortable for long and short rides or any ride, It is Easy to maintain as its meter suggest when is service due. It is Good value for money. It has Smooth gas shifts and a perfect clutch system. It has a Spacious seat for the rider and back person. The cons are that the service can only be done by a Genuine service center due to the sensor. Its Back indicators are broken easily as they are not that strong. The biggest problem is No LED lights or switch to turn it off even in daylight. It has another big problem that it has High water spills on foot in rainy conditions. Its Braking system could be better. Its Suspension could be improved to handle bumps and potholes better. It doesn't have a reserve petrol switch which sometimes causes problems in winter or rainy season.

Bike driving is very comfortable with glamour. I love this bike's features and looks. The average of my bike is good. Service and spare availability very much in India in any location. The price of spare parts is very low. Breaks are very good and the gear is too tight but not disturbing. It has chain less meter Console.

  • Very worst bike in life time

    Victor

Buying experience is so bad, no proper bill for bank transfers. Everyday riding experience is so hectic. Too much noise in the dashboard after so many services. The service advisor says they have repeated complaints about the new model of Glamour 125 and it seems complete manufacturing defect. Worst bike in my lifetime. Very worst option in bs vi. Do not buy hero glamour 125. Better to go for any other models.

The bike is awesome and riding comfort is very peaceful and mileage is good according to 125cc. Bluetooth connectivity is very helpful when riding I can see who calls me on my bike screen. And also see the map. The bike's look is very stylish and dashing when roaring on road. Firing is very pure its feels like the heartbeat of a hero's engine. And the price is perfect for that machine I am fully satisfied with this bike.
