Good bike but not best.

First of all I wanted to have a bike in lockdown as public transport services were very very limited thus shortlisted two bikes suitable for my use, Hero Glamour Fi (at that time this bike was not in showrooms but teased and looks good) and Honda SP 125.I do live in small town and my daily commute was of 60 kms so i avoided SP 125 for, service issues(I knew honda didn't had any Fi bikes for masses until now thus heard staff were not properly trained to do service routine for bike, glamour has long fi history)I didn't liked the alloys of Hondamuch higher on road price 95000.Bought glamour for good looks and lower price of 85000.Buying experience was good as i have bought it almost illegally in lockdown period so all showrooms were closed. they don't had any accessories other than dikki. so in 85K i had a bike and dikki.Riding Quality and Handling:This feels good to ride over long distances but there's a problem braking with two people on bike is bad specially in city roads where there is always sand and dust is on road, tires don't feel that grippy. For my unit Riding in night is just horrible as my unit has some problems with wiring and they don't have parts to replace them also electrical knowledge of staff is not appropriate. As of now i have completed 9000 kms and my mileage is 65-70. I do ride at a nominal speed of 50 kmph over highways(50 kms of highway riding although its not 4 lane but i do maintain a average speed of 45kmph over highway stretch). Engine performance is very good but here are things i do miss about SP125.1. Kill Switch (I hate that I3 system)2. Disc brakes ( by time of my buying and even now disc model is not available)3. Headlights (Maybe a different bike even a different unit glamour could have satisfied me as i mentioned my lights had problems with high beam and pass beam other than that throw of light seems adequate as i am not very happy with bikes light in particular they have a 35W unit and that's not enough to light up the road they must have at least 55W in case of halogen and 20W in case of led).

The best in its segment

Buying from hero itself is a pride of made in India, the showroom executive was responsive and polite, thanks to bikewale for updates on new bikes, then i went for a test drive and it was like love at first sight, glamorous is best in all norms in 125 cc segment,,those stylish indicators, to that bold head lamp and muscular tank with beautiful cowl, it just flows like pure poetry, and the best part is the rear light, with led clusters, wahh, just amazing, bike is so chiselled and well built in each and every corner, can't find a bit to count on flaws when it comes to its built, engine is well refined than the previous model, and throttle is quite responsive too, at a top speed there is a feel of lagging 5th gear, but for a commuting in city limits its more than enough, the mileage is very impressive and i personally claim around 70-75kmpl(i strictly follow good riding tips), suspension is so smooth that gives a feel of riding royal chariot, i personally like the the speedo meter console, that's so beautiful with a combination of analogue with digital, the bike gives a look of 150cc segment sports series, though it is 125cc commuter, as it's name says the bike really so glamorous and head-turner on roads, descent performance with mix of bold and stylish looks, graphics with all mileage and comfort makes its outstanding of all, a best in segment for college youths as well as for professionals..

At first i want to telling about its buying experience it is awesome . While i have entered in the showroom firstly i saw it and it looks gorgeous. Of-course i have a great riding experience about it. It has l very comfortable sit which makes my rides joyful. Including my experience i think the mileage is 53-55 kmpl . The engine is made with the i3s technology so it has a special ability. It automatically turn off after 8-9 sec when it stopped. It has 4 gears and the pickup is great. I think that this bike is nice one to me. I suggested everyone to buy this bike and enjoy it. Thank you .

1 yr 3 months and near about 5000kms, i am a family person, most of the time ride with pillion...Getting mileage 50+ in core city where i need to use clutch and brake most of the time. Some people under estimate this bike but most of the comparing it with 150+ segment. It is the most powerful - most comfortable - having large seat in 125 segment. Long time drive is not a prob in this bike.Build quality is nice. Top speed i got 95. I think its enough for this segment otherwise go for higher cc. Please don't go the service centre after free servicing, they are worst, even don't know how to tune the bike. The sound is not that good but if u ride this bike in proper speed and use proper rpm it isn't create any prob in sound. I am well satisfied with this bike.

Buy sp125 not glamour

People who want to ride between 30-50 and want good mileage buy this bike. If you go above 60 kmph the sound comes from the engine and not from the exhaust. Reliability is a major issue. My engine broke in 23000km. You do not like to ride the bike in high speed, however its pickup is good. Not a good bike like old glamor

A detailed review of glamour i3s after riding 11000 kms
6 years ago
Pradeep
1. Buying cost is little high but its ok2. Riding experience is good.3. Looks is what i feel very good. But what a commuter bike should have mileage but this bike is low on that segment. After riding 11000 km, it only gives me 50 kmpl of mileage and i think its low for a 125cc bike. Build quality of body part are feels like cheap. 4.Servicing in service centre is not good but anyone can service it in some well known mechanic in there locality and maintenance cost is low.5. Pros- look quality is good. engine feels refined at high rpm also pick up is good in comparison to old glamour cons- low fuel economy engine overheat some tick tick noise coming from engine.

The buying experience is good.I use this bike for daily use I drive 70 km daily this bike's mileage pickup maintenance cost everything is too good.Top Speed 95 to 102 kmMileage 55-60 as per drive.Pickup Excellent Maintenance is very low.I suggested taking it with no hesitation. For middle-class family its a dream of true bike for daily use with better pickup the 100-110 cc bike There is only a minor Mileage difference with 100-110 cc bikes.

Tips for other riders
Changing oil and regular service just doesn't mean your bike should be well maintained, secret is the way you handle your bike, don't throttle aggressive, always ride in power mode(method of shifting gears-May search YouTube, video available in Hindi)

The gorgeous & stylish bike

At first i want to telling about its buying experience it is awesome . While i have entered in the showroom firstly i saw it and it looks gorgeous. Of-course i have a great riding experience about it. It has l very comfortable sit which makes my rides joyful. Including my experience i think the mileage is 53-55 kmpl . The engine is made with the i3s technology so it has a special ability. It automatically turn off after 8-9 sec when it stopped. It has 4 gears and the pickup is great. I think that this bike is nice one to me. I suggested everyone to buy this bike and enjoy it. Thank you .

Breaking is good (risk)..Tubeless tyres.. Graphics was good..Tail lamp was good and stylish look.
