About the Reviewer

Not Purchased

I have a 2006 Alto Lxi which I drive every single day.I also own a Honda City 1.5 but for some reason I prefer to drive my Alto. Its cute, nimble and very very economical.I dont know why the others are saying it is not so good. Its smooth,no maintenance costs except the normal servicing every 5000 kms.Maybe one needs to think how you treat your car.My Alto has had only 1 puncture till date,so parts changed(touchwood) and I happily cruise at 110kmph on the highway ,surpringly the car is very steady and responsive. It has the coolest AC in its class ,however initially I did feel the dip in power with the AC on.But a servicing of the AC from a good mechanic bought amazing results. I am very satisfied with my Alto.Oh yes, after fitting a K&N Filter no complains abt power. Its as good as a Esteem now.Amazing Fuel Economy, good style,Manouveribility, value for moneySpace, initial pick up

I went with my whole family to the showroom in gurgaon. Since i was very sure about the bike i had to buy, and i have already taken the test drive before, so this visit was more of a family showcasing and formality.

Riding this mammoth beauty gives a feeling that can't be described in words. Whenever i take this out for a solo ride to murthal, i think i along with my bike become the centre of attraction for everyone. Youngsters come to me asking price, mileage and what not.

Once above 100 kmph, real fun of this bike begins, and for me 120 is the sweet spot. It can run all day long without any hitch, there are no vibrations, no extra effort required to manoeuvre the handle, you just flow on the road. It maintains its grip, allowing you to feel confident.

    I love my bike...

1.Buying experience:- its like a nightmare because it's so expensive to own for an middle class person like me.

    2.Riding experience:- wonderful & comfortable.

    3. Fabulous classy vintage look and has great performance according to travelling and quite suitable for long road trips.

    4.Maintenance:- for every 5000 miles.

    5.Pros:- cruise control,back rest(detachable) of pillion passenger,saddle bags (detachable), windshield (detachable) , comfortness , security,abs,tubeless tyres

Cons:- doesn't suits for normal riding on heavy traffic pavements, ground clearance isn't enough for Indian street roads.
