Buying Experience:
The Hero Splendor is one of the most popularly used bikes in India that most commuters can readily afford and trust. The process of purchasing a splendor is quite straightforward since hero's wide distribution networks ensure that one has access to quick loans, average after-sale service and occasional price cuts on some add-on parts.
Riding Experience:
The Splendor hardly struggles when it comes to commuting within cities, offering a rather gentle and soothing ride in an upright position while sitting on the seat. It is very easy to control due to its lightweight structure especially while stuck in traffic making it great for beginner riders as well as for experienced riders.
Looks:
Although the splendor will not win any awards for being aggressive, the bike is simple and elegant making it can grab the attention of every type of viewer. It is a remarkable motorcycle that not only feature a clean and minimalistic design but also practical colors.
Performance:
Coming with a 97.2 cc engine, the bike can be considered competent when it comes to be used for commuting purposes. Build wise the bike is not race-ready instead it gives incredible gas mileage of approximately 60-70km for every 1 litre of gas making this bike a great option for people on a budget.
Servicing and maintenance:
Most people who own hero motorbikes do understand that maintenance is quite cheap and very effective as well. Maintenance is also simplified with the availability of spares at pretty reasonable prices. Oil changes and chain lubrication regularly eliminate most performance factors.
Pros and Cons:
Pros: Inexpensive, fuel efficient, easy to maintain.
Cons: Relatively low maximum speed, average design, and simplest features.
Maintenance Tips:
Now and then observe the arrows of the hour hand concerning the spokes of the steering wheel to see the position of the tyres on the Splendor. Many riders solely judge whether or not to replace the oil based on the condition of the engine, but in truth, it needs to be changed at timely intervals. Splendor’s smooth and reliable operation in the coming years will be supported by these simple actions.

This is a nice bike for the middle-class person because its mileage is good it's about 65-75/km. And maintenance is also very low. I bought this bike in 2009 and it's still running great now. Only I have done some engine work this year. It's a rough and tough bike that is able to ride in fields also.

Excellent bike, suitable for family and truly value for money, low on maintenance, and very best fuel efficiency in class it's officially recommended for ages 10+ The best fuel-efficient Hero Splendor model is Splendor Plus reducing fatigue during long rides. This engine was mated to a four-speed gearbox until Hero updated the bike for BS6 norms when a five-speed gearbox was introduced.

Still now use a very trustful two-wheeler when we go to another city on this bike almost very trust we come back no doubt feel with this bike journey and also a very good look for all types of age fellows it's not only some selected people who ride all type people can ride on the road.

Daily used so much comfortable and good build quality. Long ride tour of 132 kilometers this Splendor this experience was excellent. Best in class and value for money.
