Reviews of Hero Splendor Plus

The bike is awesome it is easy to ride on any ground surface like normal off-road or in any farm area kachha roads and even it has a good performance and can carry minimum sized 4 to 5 person
It's just an amazing bike and it's user-friendly and not that expensive there are different color options provided for different customer tastes.

Can't talk about others but for me- splendors are essentially indestructible
One can argue that given enough care, maintenance and effort every machine can practically be immortal and you will be absolutely right
But splendors, thrash them in accidents, neglect maintenance (reasonably), mount milk cans on sides, tie a cylinder on the back carrier(carrier is actually intended for this), can cross mud, dirt and gravel(it's pretty light in weight)
The point is you can treat it like shit and it will still roar to life the second you “kick" start it( electric start on new models)
It's like a loyal dog. You as the owner can kick it in anger as often as he likes( please, don't dogs are wonderful and selfless creatures- be a decent human and cherish your pet) and it would still wag its tail upon seeing him.
Of course, if you overstep boundaries consequences will be there and yes there are boundaries to how much you can expect from and mistreat a splendor.
As for mistreatment, it's pretty reliable and if anything does break it wouldn't demand anything expensive from you, just fuel and some maintenance and occasional change of parts with then again are cheap
There are some boundaries with this machine that cannot be surpassed
Like it could never climb steep roads( the engine groans, huffs, and puffs and still never a sliver of more power) but not many 100cc can and it does fine on gentle slopes which are more common.
You can drive over light muggy and soggy roads but not over swamps(not even tanks can)
And if you want to feel the wind over 90kmph and corner like they do in movies- tough luck
But what it can do is- be there
To gobble up kilometers and years along with you, a thing you can depend upon — a real “splendor” of a machine in every sense.

Splendor is a very good bike for daily uses. U find it more convenient while riding. it have a good mileage of about 60km per litre. Splendor have a strong build capacity.. The color combination of black and grey looks nice together. splendor is in market since about last 3 decades. overall experince with this bike is very good.

I love splendor plus bike very much.My favourite bike is splendor plus because it’s mileage is good and it’s life is very long. The look is fantastic and the speed is good. I have use this bike i can't completely told you for amazing quality and power. And very heavy and smooth riding.Sitting rides handle setting and his sounds is outstanding mind blowing heavy sound. carries all of heavy weight and all fitness same all functional are good.Thanks for the chance.

I own this bike for last 16 years. Its 2002 model hero honda splendor plus i drive this bike 84km per day for last 1 year. It gives good mileage while driving in economy range and it is maintenance free for me because if you know to change oil and be able to clean spark plug. If you know to do it you won't need to go to service centre.

As informed by many reviewers, the main issue is with idealing. While riding bike in 2nd gear in traffic or low throttle, the bike turns off automatically due to low idealing. The i3s technology completely collapsed with idealing. While starting bike you can feel the silencer gets struggling. Not recommended for new learner or new to gear bikes. The gear bike failed to meet basic criteria. Feels like the bike has manufacturing defect and it will be rectified after all services and riding more kilometres from experts. For this, i would have purchased bike in second hand at low price and spend repairing cost. Overall I've purchased it for 70k and not feel worthy.
