    Virendra Patil

    Pros:-
Always attractive look with consistent performance even till today after 30k kms....Each spares part quality is excellent which gives pleasant appearance every time.
Servicing and m cost is also less than other bikes.
In short , quality always sustained upto 80% life of bike which is good factor of purchase decision.
    Cons:-
1.Suspension needs to improve. Means it looks like hard when single person driving. Might be it designed by two person with certain load. But also needs to consider single person riding comfort.
2.Wheel true size needs to increase to avoid skidding which will improve safety.

  • Do real research before splendor plus choice

    Gopal

After doing extensive research on bike/scooters, almost selecting honda shine, I was convinced that hero would be the best choice for me since it is a very old company with extremely good bike - splendor and also I thought that weight being manageable would be the right choice.
Went to the deal at chennai - adyar motors and paid in full 89000 and bought splendor plus i3 technology. Initial few days I was getting a hang of the bike and it was okay to adjust it.
However problems with self-start started and the bike stopped at signals, at home anywhere where I was going suddenly. All this happened - the bike had run only 500-600 kms.
As my first service was nearing I went to the showroom and explained the problem
1 - self starts not working
    2 - bike stops suddenly
The self-start battery was replaced and the bike was serviced. I rode the bike came back home and after a few hours, went to start the bike and the bike did not start. I tried to kick start also it was not working.
Service from adyar motors came and took the bike away and after follow-ups, i was told the battery was not charged - the new battery was not charged.
When I went to collect the vehicle again, no paperwork was done, all oral explanation only. I was convinced by the personnel there that from now on it will not happen.
Again after 2 days, the bike suddenly goes off when riding. So all in all, not a great exp. With splendor plus i3. I usually don't give any reviews but I am now writing the review.
Instead of making life comfortable and hassle-free, it has given more challenges with the bike- not sure if hero will replace the bike and don't see any point also in asking adyar motors as I will be convinced by giving some justification that everything is good if there are issues we will replace the part as it is well within warranty.
But overall much to be desired. I recommend looking closely at competitors in this segment and deciding yourself.

    Pros:-
Always attractive look with consistent performance even till today after 30k kms....Each spares part quality is excellent which gives pleasant appearance every time.
