Hero XF3R is expected to launch in India in October 2025 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,60,000 to ₹ 1,80,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to XF3R are Odysse Vader, Bajaj Avenger Street 220 & Bajaj Pulsar F250. Another bike similar to XF3R is KTM 125 Duke [2024] which is launching in February 2025 in India.
The XF3R has remained a concept motorcycle, long after most of its contemporary concepts have gone on sale. It was first showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, with a number of interesting features like a single-sided swingarm, upside down front forks, and a trellis frame. At the time, the liquid-cooled 200cc motor (which the company claimed it was) was also a promising displacement to have.
A year on from the 2016 Auto Expo, the manufacturer patented it, which suggested it was going into production. The expectations were revised – it was now expected to displace 300cc, have ABS and fuel injection, and even dual riding modes.
At EICMA in November 2017, Hero Motocorp showcased another 300cc concept alongside the Xpulse concept. It was expected to be the upgrade from the commuter motorcycle that Hero had on sale at the time. However, that space has now been taken up by the Xtreme 200, so the XF3R will have to slot in above that.
The launch of the XF3R is unlikely to happen anytime soon – the manufacturer has its hands full with the recently launched Xtreme 200 and the upcoming launch of the Xpulse 200.
