  • SUPER COMMUTER OF THE YEAR

    Tushar Das Gupta

I recently had the opportunity to test ride the Hero Xtreme 125 R, and I must say, it left a lasting impression with its combination of style, performance, and fuel efficiency. The Hero Xtreme 125 R boasts a sporty and aggressive design that is sure to turn heads on the road. The sharp lines, sculpted fuel tank, and stylish LED headlight contribute to its overall modern and dynamic appearance. The attention to detail in the design is commendable, making the Xtreme 125 R a visually appealing choice for riders looking for a blend of aesthetics and functionality. The 125cc engine delivers a punchy performance that is perfect for both city commuting and short highway stints. The power delivery is smooth, and the bike handles well in various riding conditions. The 5-speed gearbox is responsive, allowing for quick acceleration and comfortable cruising on the open road. The bike feels nimble and agile, making it an excellent choice for navigating through traffic. Hero has prioritized rider comfort with a well-padded seat and an ergonomic riding position. The handlebar is positioned at a comfortable height, and the footpegs are well-placed, ensuring a relaxed and fatigue-free ride even during extended journeys. The suspension setup effectively absorbs bumps and uneven surfaces, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable riding experience. One of the standout features of the Hero Xtreme 125 R is its impressive fuel efficiency. The bike is designed with a focus on economic fuel consumption, making it an ideal choice for riders looking to save on fuel costs without compromising on performance. The efficiency is further enhanced by the programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI) system, ensuring optimal combustion and reduced emissions. The Xtreme 125 R comes equipped with modern features such as a fully digital instrument cluster, providing information like speed, fuel level, and trip details. The inclusion of an engine kill switch and pass switch adds to the convenience and usability of the bike. The LED lighting not only enhances visibility but also adds a touch of sophistication to the overall design. In conclusion, the Hero Xtreme 125 R is a compelling choice for riders seeking a stylish, powerful, and fuel-efficient commuter bike. Whether you're navigating through city traffic or enjoying a weekend ride on the highway, the Xtreme 125 R delivers a thrilling and satisfying experience. With its blend of design aesthetics, performance, and technology, Hero has successfully created a bike that stands out in the competitive 125cc segment.

  • 125 CC SuperSharp Masterstroke by Hero Motocorp

    Deepak Yadav

As of now, I have not ridden this bike because it has recently been launched but seeing it at first glance I would say this is just a masterstroke by Hero Motocorp. The motorcycle has very sharp lines and a promising engine with claimed performance. One of the best things I would say about this bike is the offering of the ABS as an option which is the first of a kind in this 125 CC segment, now the users have an option to go for a 125 cc performance motorcycle with ABS on the go.

I feel proud whenever I ride this bike on the road. This bike is for middle-class people like me. This bike is value for money.

  • Perfect first bike

    Hemant Rai

Having owned a Hero Xtreme 125R for the past month, I can confidently say it's been a mixed bag of experiences. On the positive side, the bike's sleek design and sporty appearance immediately caught my attention. Its 125cc engine delivers a decent amount of power for city commutes, and the handling is nimble and responsive, making maneuvering through traffic a breeze.
However, my experience with the Xtreme 125R has also been marked by a few drawbacks. Firstly, the build quality could be better – I've noticed some rattling noises developing over time, which is a bit concerning. Additionally, while the bike's fuel efficiency is respectable, it falls short of the claimed figures in real-world conditions.
On the bright side, maintenance costs have been relatively low, and servicing has been hassle-free thanks to Hero's widespread service network. The bike's comfortable riding posture also deserves a mention, as it has made longer rides more enjoyable.
Overall, while the Hero Xtreme 125R has its flaws, it's still a solid choice for anyone looking for an affordable and stylish commuter bike. With a few improvements in build quality and fuel efficiency, it could truly shine in its segment.
