Review of the Hero Xtreme 125R1. Buying ExperienceThe buying experience for the Hero Xtreme 125R is generally smooth and satisfactory. Hero MotoCorp, being one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India, ensures that their dealerships provide excellent customer service. The sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful, offering detailed information about the bike’s features, financing options, and any ongoing promotions. The process from inquiry to delivery is streamlined, making it hassle-free for customers.2. Riding ExperienceThe Hero Xtreme 125R offers an impressive riding experience, especially for urban commuters. Its 125cc engine provides a good balance of power and fuel efficiency. The bike is lightweight, which makes it easy to handle in city traffic and nimble enough for quick maneuvers. The suspension system absorbs road bumps effectively, ensuring a comfortable ride even on rough roads. The riding posture is ergonomic, reducing fatigue on longer rides. However, the bike might feel slightly underpowered on highways compared to higher displacement mode3. Looks and PerformanceIn terms of looks, the Xtreme 125R is sporty and modern. It features a sharp headlamp design, muscular fuel tank, and stylish graphics that appeal to younger riders. The digital-analog instrument cluster is informative and adds a premium touch to the bike.Performance-wise, the 125cc engine delivers a power output of around 10-12 HP, which is adequate for city commuting. The bike accelerates smoothly and has a reliable braking system with optional disc brakes for added safety. The fuel efficiency is commendable, often delivering around 50-55 km/l, making it an economical choice for daily use.4. Servicing and MaintenanceHero MotoCorp’s extensive service network ensures that servicing and maintenance are convenient and affordable. Regular servicing is straightforward, with most parts readily available at authorized service centers. The service staff are trained and efficient, often providing quick turnaround times. Maintenance costs are relatively low, which is a significant advantage for budget-conscious riders. The bike’s build quality is robust, requiring minimal unscheduled maintenance if properly cared for.5. Pros and ConsPros:-Affordability: Priced competitively, making it accessible for a wide range of customers.-Fuel Efficiency: Excellent mileage, which is ideal for daily commuting.-Comfortable Ride: Good suspension and ergonomic design ensure a comfortable riding experience.- Stylish Design: Modern and sporty looks that appeal to young riders.- Service Network:Extensive and reliable service network with affordable maintenance costs.Cons:- Power Limitation:May feel underpowered on highways or for aggressive riding.- Basic Features: Lacks some advanced features that are becoming common in newer bikes.- Resale Value:Being a lower displacement bike, the resale value might not be as high as some competitors.Overall, the Hero Xtreme 125R is an excellent choice for those looking for a stylish, fuel-efficient, and affordable motorcycle for city commuting. It offers a good blend of performance, comfort, and economy, backed by Hero’s reliable service network. While it may not be the best choice for high-speed highway cruising, it excels in its intended urban environment.

So, I brought this bike home on 01/07/2024, and here is a small review from my side having ridden the bike so far:-Mileage: I got around 55-60 range so far (Actually got 48 odd in between the first service, but hero guys stole some petrol, so not considering that)Cruising speed: Haven't explicitly tried top speed (went around 120kmh only), cruising at 60-65km/h is very easy on the bike; no stress till you hit 75-80kmh Once again, haven't constantly gone over 80km/h. Pickup is pretty nice for a 125cc bikeSuspension: Pretty nice to ride even on bumpy and uneven roads, honestly a 9/10.Brakes and Gear: Brakes are more than enough for this segment tbh, to excellent feedback so far, 9.5/10 Gears are clunky at the start, still are after doing the first service, and also finding neutral is annoying - 6/10. Would switch from mineral oil to semi-synthetic oil (Need tips if I should or not)Built Quality: It's decent, with few parts dangling, not the worst out there tho. Avg fuel economy on Speedo is instantaneous, I feel it's pretty useless lol.2nd pic: So yeah, because of the design, the rear side of the bike is gonna be dirty. Riding in monsoon gonna make the bike nasty.Overall Rating: 8.5/10, Definitely a safe and capable machine in the city, easy to ride. Thank You!

The bike was in good condition. They said they just did the full service before my trip. I think it is true that I had no problems with the bike at all. I was riding the bike for 3100km so of course I went to a two-wheeler workshop sometimes to readjust the chain or refill some engine oil. But every biker should know how to maintain a bike if he/she is going on a long trip.

The road presence of this bike is 10/10 and after-market accessories will blow your bike, best in the 125 segments, sporty look, and also has 110 high-speed LED lights all around the bike are great in starting and will get 42-54 milages but after 1st service, everything will go great, I recommend XTREME 125 R ABS among duke 125 and raider 125.

I bought two types of tyres, but the workers did not recommend the best MRF tyres. Instead, my bike came with CEAT tyres. While the appearance of the tyres was nice, the overall performance has been disappointing. The mileage is only about 40 to 44 km/l, which isn't great, and the ride is not comfortable for my family. In my opinion, it was a waste of money, but the choice is yours. Take care and drive safely

The buying experience is good not bad but bike quality very poor totally fiber body but is not good quality NS 125 is the best quality this is not good worst quality and the mileage is approx 45 to 50, It is not a good waste of money product and is not comfortable to family ride. My opinion is cummuter bikes is best like sp125 shine125 other bikes Hero extreme totally weast off money not recommend but your joice Drive smart Live smart

It's the most affordable bike at a competitive price for those who desire to fulfill their dreams of riding a sports model at an economical price. Spare parts are affordable and available across the country. If you are a single rider and are not planning to accommodate your partner for a long drive or daily commute then it's one of the ideal ones.

I Love its design head sound and performance all the way wonderful in this segment lots of smooth performance and the milage is around 50t o56 if you ride under 60 range not for over speed revs and service is undoubtedly friendly behavior. I am done with 2nd service and ride around 3500 k.m and thanks bikeWale team for suggesting and this site member I all day find here my dream bike ... And last I own it proudly.

Xtreme 125R ABS honest review

The road presence of this bike is 10/10 and after-market accessories will blow your bike, best in the 125 segments, sporty look, and also has 110 high-speed LED lights all around the bike are great in starting and will get 42-54 milages but after 1st service, everything will go great, I recommend XTREME 125 R ABS among duke 125 and raider 125.

The mileage is only about 40 to 44 km/l

I bought two types of tyres, but the workers did not recommend the best MRF tyres. Instead, my bike came with CEAT tyres. While the appearance of the tyres was nice, the overall performance has been disappointing. The mileage is only about 40 to 44 km/l, which isn't great, and the ride is not comfortable for my family. In my opinion, it was a waste of money, but the choice is yours. Take care and drive safely
