Reviews of Hero Xtreme Sports

I have purchased xtreme sports on 18th may 2015 from gurgaon showroom. I booked this bike from snapdeal to get free insurance and i have one reference in hero showroom so i got 1000/- cash discount on ex showroom price. So i got this bike in 71750 (insurance and tax paid) + 4600 for rc (self applied in rto office) i got approx half litre petrol in built & same day i refilled 7 litre petrol to check the average. My bike touch the reserve level on 333 km meter reading . Xtreme contains 1.5 Litre petrol in reserve, so as per this calculation i have driven 333 km in 6 litre petrol and it becomes 55.5 Km's average on highway + local. I drive 12 km on one side from my home to office in which 2 km is local and 10 km is highway. Even first serice is due :-) as i have studied on many websites that on any new two wheeler you should not cross 45's speed atleat for first 500 km,after getting first service done you can touch 55's speed. I just followed the same rule result is also in front of you. After getting first service done i will run it on normal speed of 55-60 km per hous. Regards, gaurav dhingra

Style bike looks stylish in red colour. Everyone takes a glance at your bike when you move on road.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox 50 kmpl at cities and 55-60 at highways which is good for a 150cc bike. Gear box is little noisy and bit confusing.

Ride quality & handling comfort but uncomfortable for age of 60+ to sit back.

Final words the all new 15.2 Bhp hero xtreme sports is nice bike you can prefer. Hero is back in competition against suzuki gixxer, yamaha fz and unicorn.

Style style good but chould be better the head light is small camparetive to back look & side look, and indicator side key concept did't work.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox engine sound is not good it should roaring types, fuel economy good, but the gears maake high sound while changing & sometimes they slip in fifth gear.

Ride quality & handling actulay i thing i recived quality defect product the left handel bar is much far compare to right side handel bar this thing makes your ride painfull in hand mostly in mountain roads .And they are much wider. And biker siting seat is not perfectly fit on area around tank. The bike is heighted it should be 1 to 3 inches lower, the back is too higher too.

Final words after purchase i really dissipointed

Buying experience was very smooth with hero.Riding initially was tough given that i bought bike for 1st time , quite heavy approx. 150 kg. , quite tall , etc Looks are killer !!! i own a red colour extreme which never goes unnoticed on road or traffic or in parking. Attractive design and features !!! good for tall people to ride this bike.There is a knocking sound when you aggressively accelerate on gear change.Use both brakes to slow down to avoid dis-balance when braking.Overall a very good performer for daily use with very low maintenance and service cost.Recommended.

I have owned the legendary hero xtreme sports after 9 years of using hero honda glamour which was also a good bike to me. To me nothing can compare with this bike in 150cc segment. In one word awesome experience to have hero xtreme sports. It is so refined engine that response so smooth as i brought this bike 4 months back only.

Hero xtreme is a very good bike. It gives an excellent mileage of 55km per liter. I use it as daily commute, i am very much comfortable with it. At first, i thought to buy honda cb unicorn, but when i took a test drive of hero xtreme sports, i was really impressed. I suggest you to buy this bike if you want a good looking, powerful, fuel efficient bike. Good luck ......

A great 150 cc bike for typical Indian roads... Owned a dual disc model...Covered 27000 kms without any problems...Gives mileage of 44 km... Reached speed of 119 km....Runs smoothly on road....Haven't spent single penny over maintenance except engine oil n brake fluid..Looks good i loved it....The brand that i can trust...Hero

I bought hero xtreme sports orange color in december 2015, since then i have been using this. I use this for daily commute and for long tours every 20-25 days.
Buying experience: i bought it from radha showroom tambaram at around rs.86,000 For double disc.
Riding experience: since i am 5'7 tall with 68 kgs,initially i have little shoulder pain to handle bike as it is 148 kgs. But after continued use of 1 month all pain disappeared. Orange color looks fabulous. While on road you will have looks from everyone to enquire which bike ?
mileage: i am getting 49 kmpl in city, highway it is 55 kmpl
servicing is cheap and best in class.
Riding quality is extremely comfortable for long tours and long rides. Power is unmatchable. Don't go for pulsar or apache because xtreme will definitely make you feel the difference in terms of pleasure ride and mileage with damnnnnn less maintenance.
