We have compared the two flagship electric scooters on paper to tell you which one offer better value for money

Hero MotoCorp’s electric scooter arm, Vida has filed a new patent for an upcoming scooter. A close look at the images reveals that this could possibly be a more family-oriented electric scooter based on the Vida V1 platform.

Hero has announced a new offer for the Vida V1 Pro owners. For reference, Vida is Hero’s electric mobility division. The newly launched scheme is called the Vida Advantage Package and it includes benefits worth Rs. 27,000

The Vida V1 Plus was recently reintroduced by Hero MotoCorp and is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh. The V1 Plus sits below the top-spec V1 Pro that is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh and is hence significantly cheaper. It, however, isn’t lagging far behind the V1 Pro when it comes to performance and range. Its price puts it up against the Ather 450S that’s priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. This is how they stack up against each other on paper.

At the launch of the Vida electric scooter, Hero MotoCorp has introduced two variants- V1 Plus and the top-spec V1 Pro. Overtime, the V1 Plus was discontinued with the V1 Pro taking the charge of spearheading the company’s onslaught in the electric scooter space. Cut to 2024 and the company has reintroduced the V1 Plus variant.
