The Hero Electric NYX HX is the high-speed variant of the NYX series. The electric scooter uses a 600/1,300 Watt motor that promises a top speed of 42kmph. The 51.2V/30Ah (double battery) is claimed to deliver a range of 165km per charge and takes up to five hours to fully recharge. Being a fast speed scooter, it requires registration. In comparison, its slow-speed variant does not need registration.
The NYX HX is aimed to handle utility work. This electric scooter will be useful for small and medium-scale business establishments. The hardware on the NYX HX includes telescopic front forks and swingarm-linked dual shock absorbers at the rear to handle the suspension tasks. It is equipped with 10-inch alloy wheels with drum brakes at both ends. The dual split seats offer comfort for the rider and the pillion, while the ample space on the floorboard offers room for luggage. It comes with plenty of storage options like under-seat storage, a glove box, and a big floorboard. One of the interesting features of this scooter is the ability to fold the rear seat upright in order to make room for additional luggage. The three-side grab rail comes in handy while tying up additional luggage.
The Hero NYX gets its power from a 600W/1,200W BLDC hub motor which draws power from a 48V/28Ah battery. With a top speed of 25kmph, Hero Electric claims a riding range of 85km in one full charge.
As the top-speed of the scooter is at 25kmph, it doesn't require a driving license or registration to ride. Just like the rest of the Hero electric scooters, the NYX is also offered with a free one-year roadside assistance plan. The Hero Electric NYX is available in two colour options – black and silver.

Purchased this EV for our field installation team(about 100km daily) from R.S Sales - NIT Faridabad We spend almost a lakh on this EV. The product itself, the company's service, battery quality everything has been really BAD and it has been a really bad experience. Every 3rd day the EV stops in between and we have to get it pulled or lifted. 1. Dashboard: It will never tell the correct battery status. (from 100 it goes down to extremely low - all of a sudden). 2. The connectors in the EV and chargers have been changed thrice in the last 10 months. (As an electronic Engg. I can tell they are not made to carry high current) 3. They took 3 months to replace One Charger under warranty4. Within 8 months: Our battery has gone for replacement it has been 2 months and still counting - we have not received our battery and worst there is no update from the company or service station about the status of replacement. 5. Our second battery (within 10 months): range has gone drastically low. (about 30km)Now, we are stuck in a situation where we can not use the EV.6. Plastics are of poor quality 7. Aftersale's service has been extremely bad - they are rude and don't know what they are doing, won't respond to any queries.8. Break pads: we have changed our break pads at least 4 times each (front and back). It has been a bad decision.

Worth every money you spend ... I am a grocery shopkeeper and for my everyday delivery needs, I use this vehicle just by charging it for 3hrs in the morning. It saves me a lot of money and just takes 10rs per day max. I can refresh my vehicle every 3 years from now just with the money I saved with petrol expenses.
