Honda Activa 7G Summary
Honda Activa 7G will be the successor to the company’s Activa 6G 110cc scooter. This scooter is expected to receive several upgrades over the existing version. Similar to the Activa 6G, the next-generation model will be available in multiple variants and several colour options.
On the styling front, the Activa 7G could retain the design of the existing 6G, although Honda might tweak it by updating the body panels and adding chrome elements. The Honda Activa 6G is currently sold in India in six colours – blue, red, yellow, black, white, and grey. Further, the company also offers a limited-edition model of this scooter.
The mechanical specifications could retain the 109cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine since it already complies with the newest emission norms. This motor is tuned to make 7.6bhp and 8.8Nm of peak torque on the Activa 6G. We expect to see similar numbers on the Activa 7G. Thus, the fuel economy of the Activa 7G should remain similar to the Activa 6G. The current scooter can deliver around 45-50kmpl. With a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 litres, the Activa 6G can be ridden for almost 250km between fuel stops.
The Activa 6G received features such as an engine start-stop switch, a silent starter, and a dual-function switch that opens the seat and external fuel lid. The biggest upgrade on the 6G variant, however, was the addition of telescopic forks at the front. Further, the Activa 6G rides on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels. We expect to see similar hardware on the Activa 7G as well.
The Honda Activa 7G will rival the likes of TVS Jupiter (110) in the Indian market.

While other brand vehicles and electric vehicles offer all digital features like call, SMS, and GPS features at a lower price, Honda Activa still offers a manual every year, which is not fair! The Young Generation is living with smart Technology and screen freaks, and Honda Activa is still giving old-generation manual meters! 2. Glove boxes and chargers are musts nowadays. Just for the glove box, we need to go for 125CC, which is not in 110CC. 125 CC is bulky for ladies and elderly people, which will make people take other brand vehicles for just these reasons, so Honda should include a Glove box and charger in 110CC, too. 3. Bluetooth Speakers would also be advisable as in some electric vehicles. 4. The most important feature is Braking, Bajaj Has given ABS and DiscBrake in 110CC segments in their Bikes. So if this ABS feature is included in activa it would be a great vehicle to handle on the road. Many fear siding and slipping in mopeds because there is no ABS. If Honda includes this in active sales will be active otherwise passive! 5. Boot space/Storing Place should be also more as other vehicles are offering a bit more. Five years back Before duet and other vehicles had given boot light option too which Honda is not even thinking about which is very important for night drives elderly people and people with sight of night blindness! 6. Side stand Censor should also be given which was there in other scooties five years back.
