Regular Servicing: Follow the service schedule as mentioned in the owner's manual (Normally 4000KM or 6month whichever is earlier). Regular servicing ensures that your bike's engine and other components are in good condition. Check Tyre Pressure: Maintain the correct tyre pressure to ensure safety, better fuel efficiency, and longer tyre life. Check the pressure at least once a week. Oil Change: Change the engine oil and oil filter at the recommended intervals. Clean oil keeps the engine running smoothly and prolongs its life. Chain Maintenance: Keep the drive chain well-lubricated and tensioned as per the manual. A properly maintained chain ensures smooth power delivery and prevents wear. Brake Maintenance: Check the brake pads regularly for wear and replace them if necessary. Also, ensure that the brake fluid is at the correct level. Air Filter: Clean or replace the air filter as recommended. A clean air filter improves engine performance and fuel efficiency. Battery Maintenance: Keep the battery terminals clean and tight. Check the battery electrolyte level and top up with distilled water if required. Suspension Check: Inspect the suspension for leaks or damage. Ensure that the suspension is properly adjusted for a comfortable ride. Cleanliness: Keep your bike clean and free from dirt and grime. Regular cleaning not only keeps it looking good but also prevents corrosion. have a safe ride!!

I bought this bike 5 years ago when I started earning. at that time it was a turner, I did daily commutes to the office and long trips on weekends. The riding posture of the bike is definitely great for the rider but the pillion may face some pain. I can take this bike anywhere without thinking twice. Now there are many memories I have with this machine. Me and my friend named it "BLACK PEARL". Apart from its front suspension and service center issue the bike is a must-have. I also met 2-3 minor accidents while riding but this is the machine you can trust while going for a ride again.

I have been riding a CB Hornet 160R since Mar'17 and haven't faced any issues yet. Had a trip from Noida to Jaipur once and it was not at all tiring. The bike was smooth and achieved its maximum speed of 115 on an empty stretch of highway around 5 AM. Even the high-speed bike was controllable and even today it touches 110 easily without much effort.I loved its looks a lot as it has a very sporty look and Honda's trustworthy engine. After riding it for 25000, I changed its spark plug once as the mileage got dropped from 55 kmpl to 34 kmpl. But as soon as I replaced the spark plug with Honda Genuine spark plug, the mileage got increased to 57 kmpl as well. I use Motul's fully synthetic engine oil as it increases the mileage as compared to the Engine oil given by Honda service centers. I get this mileage also because I ride it at a speed of 50-55 km/hr only. And I don't perform harsh braking or harsh acceleration. Pros: 1. Sporty Look2. Powerful 160 CC trustworthy engine.3. Handling is easy and not shaky at all.Cons:1. Vibrations may increase after some time and you can get rid of it if you get it serviced properly.Tip: To get the best mileage out of it, ride it between 50-60 kmph and get it serviced on a regular basis along with Motul Engine oil and a cleaned spark plug.

The bike is good for touring purposes and for daily use. For Guys who like to travel at normal speeds around 90kmph, and filter traffic on a daily basis this bike is for them. And it's smooth, I have completed around 70,000 km till now, and it still gives mileage of 50kmpl. A few years ago companies didn't sell RSA because they knew that such bikes won't betray in between rides.

The buying experience was okayThe riding experience, with regards to ride, has been on the stiffer side with average damping from shocks. Handling is neutral-sticks to the line selected. The engine is phenomenal with regards to fuel efficiency if ridden between 40-55 kmph, returning 60 kmpl, which is its USP. Looks good and is okay with regards to acceleration, service, and maintenance is a typical Honda with very low operating costs. It's a decent commuter bike that can be taken on the highway for short distances.

Honda Hornet 160R review after 5 years of usage

Gokulakrishnan K
The bike is extremely convenient for local and city rides with good mileage and medium comfort. I bought this bike in June 2019 and I am still using this vehicle. To date, this is working fine, no important spare parts changes apart from normal services. Worth it. Complete value for money!

1. Buying experience; Purchase in 2016 2. Riding experience: Using this Bike from 2016 total Km 47,000 refinement & Smoothness less compared to Honda Unicorn 150. 3. Details about looks, and performance: looks like a big bike 400-500 CC bike, with good performance in the city & Highway lack of power in 1st & 2nd gear, 4. Servicing and maintenance: The cost of parts is higher compared to other Japanese competitors, parts are unavailability, and service centers are good for activa not for these bikes 5. Pros and Cons pros: 1. looks like a big bike 300-500 CC bike 2. Good for long trips Cons: 1. Refinement & Smoothness are less compared to the Honda Unicorn 150. 2. Cost of Parts is Higher 3. lack of power in 1st & 2nd gear,

Tips for other riders
Regular cleaning not only keeps it looking good but also prevents corrosion. have a safe ride!!

the head turner "BLACK PEARL"

I bought this bike 5 years ago when I started earning. at that time it was a turner, I did daily commutes to the office and long trips on weekends. The riding posture of the bike is definitely great for the rider but the pillion may face some pain. I can take this bike anywhere without thinking twice. Now there are many memories I have with this machine. Me and my friend named it "BLACK PEARL". Apart from its front suspension and service center issue the bike is a must-have. I also met 2-3 minor accidents while riding but this is the machine you can trust while going for a ride again.

Me and my friend noticed that the front suspension is having oil leakage in most of the same bike, the experience at service centre is not great, also the tail teddy is hanging so need to give special attention to it
