Good For City commutes with the best mileage. Good and conformable riding experiences.Good Looks with overall performances on city roads as well as highways.Good and timely services will add more life to your bike ideal services must be done every 4 months as the season changes in India. if possible I would request the company to add Bluetooth and a digital meter and Post accidental features in it like one message to your home along with the location to be aware of the status.
Tips for Honda CB Unicorn 150
If used daily service after every season [ 4 months] , otherwise service after every 6 months Keep it like your asset to get maxim value for your product...
vintage style and appearance While other payers are using new technology, Honda is still using a technique that dates back ten years for this bike.

Cons:1. The primary dissatisfaction stems from the bike's fuel efficiency, which falls short of the advertised mileage. The observed significant deviation has been disappointing, affecting the overall experience with the vehicle.2. The bike's suspension system poses issues, especially on uneven surfaces, leading to a less-than-smooth ride. The suspension lacks the necessary responsiveness, causing discomfort during rides.3. Headlamp design remains unchanged since its launch in the Indian market over 16 years ago. It maintains a typical old style with no LED implementation, resulting in low-intensity light, especially with battery and dynamo, making night riding challenging.4. The bike's appearance hasn't seen improvements, featuring a typical analogue speedometer with no smart features like Bluetooth connectivity, Android support, or a digital look.5. The quality of parts manufactured in India after 2024 has diminished compared to those imported from Japan earlier (2012-14), mainly due to cost-cutting and bypassing BIS standards for local manufacturing.6. High pick-up requires frequent changes to the chain socket and chain every six months (5-6000KM), incurring additional costs.7. The engine produces high heat and smells during long rides (over 50 Km), even when using full synthetic oil.8. Rear tire grip and brake liner are not up to the mark, with skidding becoming a common problem after 15,000 km.9. Honda front disk pad quality is subpar, requiring replacement after 3000-4000 Km at an additional cost.10. In the commuter segment, the bike lacks sufficient comfort settings, leading to back pain and shoulder pain after 150-200 km rides.Pros:1. Purchased in March 2010, the engine has been outstanding, requiring only one-time engine work (piston ring change) to date, covering 155,000 km. Note that the engine wear was imported from Japan.2. No major parts, including the chassis, handle, brake disk, suspension, and fuel tank, have been damaged to date.3. The bike is considered value for money, having been purchased for around 78,000 INR. Even after covering 155,000 km, potential buyers are willing to pay 30,000 to 35,000 INR. Comparatively, the new Unicorn costs around 1,38,000 INR (in Pune).4. Honda maintains a good brand value in the Indian market.

I Bought this Bike in the Month of September 2011. This Bike Is pearl Igneous Black Colour. I had MRF Tyres in the Beginning. The Front Disc Brake used to perform very poorly. In 2018 I found the Brand Michelin. Replaced Michelin Pilot Street 2.0 and Michelin Sirac Street at the Rear. Now When the Front Brake Lever is pressed on First Gear the bike pulls up a Stoppie. Front and rear Braking Brings the Bike to Halt much Faster now. With Michelin, the Bike well behaves to Bend on Corners. The bike tilts to such an extent on Michelin Tyres. That the Footpegs and leg Guard start to Rust on the road. If the Footpegs and leg Guard are removed. Michelin Tyres Gives you the confidence to Take Sharp Turns on curves. Michelin Tyres are the Best Tyres in the world. No Matter Dry Roads or Wet Roads. Michelin Tyres performs extremely well on both Dry Roads and Best Roads.

This bike is much more comfortable than others. It gives me the max mileage on the highway is 62kmpl to 65kmpl. And the suspension of the bike is too good... If you want to go for the tour on this bike you can do it easily by unicorn 150 and the fuel cost will also be very minimal.... The riding quality of the bike is very good.

The power of the bike is like ok not much impressive. Suspension setup and ride posture makes you comfortable in bumpy roads and the bike has decent mileage. I wish more thickened tyre, the cornering confidence is low and braking experience was bad. The visibility is very low. The cruise speed of the unicorn 150 is 60km/h.

Completely dissatisfied, with the useless bike wastes 1 lacs, and daily headaches, can't ride the bike without choak and giving mileage 25-30 km.I have raised a complaint but no response from Honda. The private garage owner suggested changing the Corborater set which may resolve my issue but no Honda dealer took any initiate for the same. Please don't purchase, my personal experience is very bad with Honda.

Get the bike serviced in every 2&1/2 months if you are not using the bike much often Shell Engine oil blends in perfectly with the Engine and Clutch and Gearbox responds well.

A bike never settles down it's simple and silent I can't forget the best of his ride voice and smoothness is very very good I also used unicorn 160 but their gear did a lot of probs and that bike also was amazing like speedo meter time watch in display why I was a purchase because old unicorn production was stopped if you are looking smoothness power and mileage so you can go unicorn 150.

This bike is really comfortable and suit to everyone

This bike is much more comfortable than others. It gives me the max mileage on the highway is 62kmpl to 65kmpl. And the suspension of the bike is too good... If you want to go for the tour on this bike you can do it easily by unicorn 150 and the fuel cost will also be very minimal.... The riding quality of the bike is very good.

King of comfort for both rider and pillion
2 years ago

The ergonomic is 100% perfect for both rider and pillion. The seat height, position, seating space, and footrest position all together provide unmatchable comfort for both rider and pillion. The nice design looks so good. Perfect for commute also good for tours. My thought is always tests drive a bike before buying.

Unicorn 150 honest user feedback.
