The CB300F Flex-Fuel version was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The motorcycle can run on an ethanol blending of up to 85 per cent via the Honda Flex Tech system.
Besides being E85-compliant, the mechanicals remain unchanged compared to the standard version. The Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel is powered by a 293cc, oil-cooled engine that pumps out 24.13bhp at 7,500rpm and 25.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper and assist clutch.
The design is inspired by Honda's CB500F and features aggressive bodywork and sharp creases. The styling elements comprise a bikini fairing with an LED headlight, muscular fuel tank, and a sleek tail section with split-style seats.
Feature-wise, the CB300F Flex-Fuel will come equipped with full-LED lighting, traction control system, digital instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS. It will also get Bluetooth connectivity, which should bring features such as music controls, voice navigation, and call and SMS alerts.
The suspension setup includes upside-down forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.
The standard Honda CB300F costs Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), so we expect the CB300F Flex-Fuel version to be marginally costlier than the standard model.

The Honda CB300F Flex Fuel is quite an attractive motorcycle that offers a different mix of performance, style, and sustainability. Its flex-fuel capability gives riders the liberty to use more fuel options with ethanol blends and can reduce both fuel costs and emissions. Its 293.52cc engine provides a fine balance of power and torque. It enhances sporty design and riding with great ease. With being limited by such a narrow scale of color shades and with that pillion could be somewhat unbearable, CB 300 F still is an evident leader of that segment. Therefore, along with the environmentally beneficial feature, if added with Honda's credibility concerning reliability, on top of everything, coming at an optimal price point would make this Honda a suitable all-rounder motorcycle. Some tips to maintain the motorcycle are: Following the recommended service schedule, using the right engine oil, maintaining proper tire pressure, regular lubrication of the chain, inspecting brake pads, and maintenance of the battery to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the CB300F Flex Fuel.

Value for money 300cc bike in the price bracket

The bike seems value for money for the features it gives and the on-road price. Its handling is superb, good mileage for a 300cc, cheap service costs. Parts quality is also way better than the bikes in the segment. The power-to-weight ratio is also quite good. Negligible heat was thrown from the engine, I would say Honda could've done a better job with the designing and overall marketing of the bike because it looks exactly like the Hornet. Tire grip in wet conditions and rough roads could be better. Also compared to other 300cc bikes such as 300r, the rtr310 lack of power is evident.

Those who don't like high-rev engines will find this bike perfect. Just tour on highways and in the city easily overtaking others with high pickup. I had a choice between Duke 200 and CB300F. Duke is now too common with the crowd and wanted something that would match my personality. So I was looking between RE and Honda. But eventually decided on CB300F with Honda's superior technology traction system and ABS that actually works in the real world.

Recently bought the CB300F Flex Fuel and just did the first service. The bike is amazing and good to ride in City and Highways. The vibrations mentioned in YouTube reviews are exaggerated. This is a simple no-brainer if you're looking for a reliable sports bike on a budget. In the city, you get close to 35kmpl, and on highways based on riding you can get over 45kmpl. Agile and able to cut through traffic and take on Speed 400 and Gixxer 250 any day. The flex fuel variant lost Bluetooth and charging socket though. You get reliability and good service but due to low volume sales spares take some time to arrive.

1. The looks of the bike are more modern and feel sleek while on the roads. with that Gold color usd front. it stands out. & honda batching. Bulky and sporty bike.2. Performance is great with that 24.13bhp. The initial pickup is good, midrange has great torque performance. The top range is great with Honda's refinement. so smooth.3. Riders experience nice seat height for various sizes of riders, good manure ability easy to move through traffic, lightweight, great turning radius, front USD performs well in different terrains, rear mono-shock provides good control over high speeds on bumpy roads. Disk brakes are amazing in front with abs, and Rear brakes are good. The nice size of tyers provides the best grip on curvy roads while leaning. All that with Honda's engine refinement with max mileage I pulled 27. something/284. Digital accessories. Digital display that shows every single thing from the speedo meter to the rev meter beautifully. to every other feature on the bike such as abs, engine errors & etc. Plus it has a feature where the display tells if ethanol percentage is over 85 if your gonna use that fuel. future-proof bike. sleeper assist clutch for seamless gear shifting.5. Overall best value-for-money bike in the segment I call it CB super stylish reliable 300F.
