Good buy for RS.2,70,000/-
Akshay Madhavi
I got this bike for Rs.2,70,000/- on road on a discount scheme. So for me it seems like a good buy at this price. Handling and braking are excellent, very strong in the midrange. 145km/h is not a big deal for Honda CB300RThe bike feels super light, the headlight feels useless. No risk, no modification options, nothing available in India I guess

I loved the buying experience is phenomenal, big wing really raises the bar. This bike is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. It's light. So light, flickable corners amazingly, is so easy to manoeuvre at low speeds and is so amazing to control at highway speeds. It's tiny but so so powerful. It's an experience. Please please test-ride it.The bike is smooth and refined and the gearbox is so precise! such a beautiful engine, it's the classic CBR 250 engine but way better. Way way better. It's joyful rev happy yet has a gorgeous mid-range, easily usable in the city and it blossoms on the open highway. The service is very affordable, spares are affordable and can be sourced within a 14-day period. It is expensive, but you're not riding a spec sheet, you're paying for an experience. If it's worth it to you, go for it. You won't regret it.

A Costly Plastic Toy
Tsahu
Before I took a test ride, I almost finalized this bike to book based on the 10Year Honda bike experience and Reviews on this bike. When I actually saw this and took a test ride, my god it's just a costly plastic toy that has a good bike engine. Not at all worth 3.3 Lac of hard-earned money. Honda should rethink what they are charging vs what they are giving to customers.

Clocked 4000kms.Been waiting for this bike for 3 and a half years, worth the wait. Although it's overpriced a bit (but also priced closer to its competitors), doesn't disappoint in its performance. Feels premium in every aspectPros:Has the best power-to-weight ratio in the segmentGreat handlingLightweightButter smooth engineGood mileage for a 300 ccCons:Average rear brakeWeak headlightCould've given more features for its price.

Falling in love with each ride

Pros: buttery smooth, power availability at every level, sleek handler, extremely lightweight, terrific acceleration, comfortable, head turner looks, 0-100 under 6 sec.Cons: no Bluetooth, small fuel tank capacity, no accessories from honda, pricy, limited color options, limited dealer & service network.Worth a test drive. For me, it grew slowly, and now loving it more than any other bike.

Cb300r the performer par excellence

After having ninja 650 for seven years, felt heavy ones are not suitable for off-roading, especially in extreme conditions. Sometimes/many times, it's all you alone who have to carry the motorcycle if it trips and it should be hassle-free. Being lightweight it's quite nimble and easy to use in chaotic city traffic. The bike is essentially a one-man show. It's strictly not for a family business where you to have ride ferrying bloating wife and ever demanding kids, along groceries bag tucked sideways.

Fuel tank capacity is very lowIt should be 15 litter The rear disk should be 240mmVery chunky and aggressive pickup Superb top speedRefined engine Phenomenal breaking Good for city riding No heating issue in traffic Good mileage as compared to other 300cc bikes Taillight needs more improvement in design.

Bike is bang but not for the bucks!

Bike wasn't available for test ride in my area showroom. We bought it blindly without the test ride,As for the ride experience, it was overall good. Power delivery is as expected, feels sturdy, brakes are apt, abs kicks in at right time. Seating posture is also fine for me. Bike is good for long as well as daily rides.Pros:1. Looks good, colours are catchy, have good road presence.2. Digital instrument cluster is informational enough, clutch and rest of the controls are sturdy and doesn't feel cheap.3. Gear shifting is smooth.4. Power delivery is a bit delayed for the price and cc, but gives good raw power.Cons:1. Very expensive for the specs offered.2. Not enough colour options.3. Looks are subjective but many people are not liking specially the side engine and back profile.4. Parts are expensive and usually unavailable as not many are buying this bike. The dealer said, we were the first one to buy this bike in that region.5. Overall maintenance cost is high

You just can't get away with the fact that this 300cc 30bhp motorcycle is costlier than bmw g310r which is 34bhpA honda costlier than bmw this is where honda lost it.This should be atleast 30k cheaper than bmw and please honda launch the 250r again in bs6 variant with sensible pricing of course.

A missed opportunity for Honda.
Kaushik
Honestly, the engine is very refined and riding comfort is very good in city. Honda machines are reliable but their services are very poor, accessories and parts are difficult to find. The plastic parts especially at rear is flimsy and the fuel tank is very tiny! Riding the bike is fun, gears change quick, torque is very good cos of the lighter weight. There is only two colours available and on top of that the bike is very expensive compared to its competitors, also it has no fresh appeal and the console is outdated (negative lcd) thus buy it considering all the pros and cons.

I owned this Bike for about 1 month and I feel like Something is missing. Because if u r spending a whopping amount of 3 lacs inr. Then u expect better Features. The handlebar is Something I can Feel about being weak in this bike.Expect these issues. The bike is Good in terms of Reliability, Maintenance, and Service centers. The main thing I like about this Bike is Its reference from its elder Siblings CB650R and CB1000R.
