    Naveen Kumar

Honda mentioned 3.20 lakh (on road) including RTO and Insurance, the price is way more high and ckd is just comedy. They could provide this bike at least for 2.3 l to 2.5 lakhs including everything. Bs-4 used to be 2.42 lakhs. Any new model should include upgrades to stay within the market. Also there is no bluetooth connectivity no eye catching features added, all these slipper clutch and gold color doesn't pile up for this way huge price.

By pricing this at around 2.8L, Honda is thinking Indian customers are a bunch of fools. This is a sub-300cc, 30 hp bike that costs 3.4 lakh on road in Bengaluru. Makes absolutely no sense for a bike that's easily outdone in every department by other models like the KTMs, Kawasaki's and Yamahas. For a little more, Duke 390 is there, which provides loads of fun with 50% more power, or buy the Gixxer 250 SF with just 4 bhp less, and save nearly 1.3L of your money. People who buy this at this price really need treatment.

This is a great "exciting" bike . If you need a bike which has a great throttle response , a rapid pick up with no vibes at all and as nimble as a commuter with a big powerful engine, which pops wheelie until 3rd gear whenever u accelerate a little hard ,than this is the perfect bike for you . Seriously i took it for a test ride ,and was the most fun bike ,that one can get in this range. The only drawback is it's price which should be around 30000 less . I mean it does 160 km/h too. For a naked bike with 31 bhp engine it's great. And service cost is no issue compared to others in this range. Thanks for reading.

  • Bike is bang but not for the bucks!

    Ankit

Bike wasn't available for test ride in my area showroom. We bought it blindly without the test ride,
As for the ride experience, it was overall good. Power delivery is as expected, feels sturdy, brakes are apt, abs kicks in at right time. Seating posture is also fine for me. Bike is good for long as well as daily rides.
    Pros:
    1. Looks good, colours are catchy, have good road presence.
    2. Digital instrument cluster is informational enough, clutch and rest of the controls are sturdy and doesn't feel cheap.
    3. Gear shifting is smooth.
    4. Power delivery is a bit delayed for the price and cc, but gives good raw power.
    Cons:
    1. Very expensive for the specs offered.
    2. Not enough colour options.
    3. Looks are subjective but many people are not liking specially the side engine and back profile.
    4. Parts are expensive and usually unavailable as not many are buying this bike. The dealer said, we were the first one to buy this bike in that region.
    5. Overall maintenance cost is high

Clocked 4000kms.Been waiting for this bike for 3 and a half years, worth the wait. Although it's overpriced a bit (but also priced closer to its competitors), doesn't disappoint in its performance. Feels premium in every aspect
    Pros:
Has the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment
    Great handling
    Lightweight
    Butter smooth engine
Good mileage for a 300 cc
    Cons:
    Average rear brake
    Weak headlight
Could've given more features for its price.

I owned this Bike for about 1 month and I feel like Something is missing. Because if u r spending a whopping amount of 3 lacs inr. Then u expect better Features. The handlebar is Something I can Feel about being weak in this bike.
Expect these issues. The bike is Good in terms of Reliability, Maintenance, and Service centers.
The main thing I like about this Bike is Its reference from its elder Siblings CB650R and CB1000R.

    Akshay Madhavi

I got this bike for Rs.2,70,000/- on road on a discount scheme. So for me it seems like a good buy at this price. Handling and braking are excellent, very strong in the midrange. 145km/h is not a big deal for Honda CB300R
The bike feels super light, the headlight feels useless. No risk, no modification options, nothing available in India I guess

  • Any 300cc bike is cheaper than this on road 3.20 l is way too high

As a beginner, this is one of the best bikes that you could start on. The bike is super easy and comfortable to maneuver in the city. At the same, it gives you confidence on the highways. Apart from the premium price and the poor grab rail, the Honda CB300R is all that you could ever want in a bike.

  • A zippy experience

    Shubhankar Pandey
