By pricing this at around 2.8L, Honda is thinking Indian customers are a bunch of fools. This is a sub-300cc, 30 hp bike that costs 3.4 lakh on road in Bengaluru. Makes absolutely no sense for a bike that's easily outdone in every department by other models like the KTMs, Kawasaki's and Yamahas. For a little more, Duke 390 is there, which provides loads of fun with 50% more power, or buy the Gixxer 250 SF with just 4 bhp less, and save nearly 1.3L of your money. People who buy this at this price really need treatment.

  • Good buy for RS.2,70,000/-

    Akshay Madhavi

I got this bike for Rs.2,70,000/- on road on a discount scheme. So for me it seems like a good buy at this price. Handling and braking are excellent, very strong in the midrange. 145km/h is not a big deal for Honda CB300R
The bike feels super light, the headlight feels useless. No risk, no modification options, nothing available in India I guess

  • Value for money! you get more than you pay for.

I loved the buying experience is phenomenal, big wing really raises the bar.
This bike is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. It's light. So light, flickable corners amazingly, is so easy to manoeuvre at low speeds and is so amazing to control at highway speeds. It's tiny but so so powerful.
It's an experience. Please please test-ride it.
The bike is smooth and refined and the gearbox is so precise! such a beautiful engine, it's the classic CBR 250 engine but way better. Way way better. It's joyful rev happy yet has a gorgeous mid-range, easily usable in the city and it blossoms on the open highway.
The service is very affordable, spares are affordable and can be sourced within a 14-day period.
It is expensive, but you're not riding a spec sheet, you're paying for an experience. If it's worth it to you, go for it. You won't regret it.

  • A Costly Plastic Toy

Before I took a test ride, I almost finalized this bike to book based on the 10Year Honda bike experience and Reviews on this bike. When I actually saw this and took a test ride, my god it's just a costly plastic toy that has a good bike engine. Not at all worth 3.3 Lac of hard-earned money. Honda should rethink what they are charging vs what they are giving to customers.

Clocked 4000kms.Been waiting for this bike for 3 and a half years, worth the wait. Although it's overpriced a bit (but also priced closer to its competitors), doesn't disappoint in its performance. Feels premium in every aspect
    Pros:
Has the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment
    Great handling
    Lightweight
    Butter smooth engine
Good mileage for a 300 cc
    Cons:
    Average rear brake
    Weak headlight
Could've given more features for its price.

Pros: buttery smooth, power availability at every level, sleek handler, extremely lightweight, terrific acceleration, comfortable, head turner looks, 0-100 under 6 sec.
Cons: no Bluetooth, small fuel tank capacity, no accessories from honda, pricy, limited color options, limited dealer & service network.
Worth a test drive. For me, it grew slowly, and now loving it more than any other bike.

After having ninja 650 for seven years, felt heavy ones are not suitable for off-roading, especially in extreme conditions. Sometimes/many times, it's all you alone who have to carry the motorcycle if it trips and it should be hassle-free. Being lightweight it's quite nimble and easy to use in chaotic city traffic. The bike is essentially a one-man show. It's strictly not for a family business where you to have ride ferrying bloating wife and ever demanding kids, along groceries bag tucked sideways.

    Arvind Kumar Shukla

Fuel tank capacity is very low
    It should be 15 litter
The rear disk should be 240mm
    Very chunky and aggressive pickup
    Superb top speed
    Refined engine
    Phenomenal breaking
    Good for city riding
    No heating issue in traffic
Good mileage as compared to other 300cc bikes
Taillight needs more improvement in design.

As a beginner, this is one of the best bikes that you could start on. The bike is super easy and comfortable to maneuver in the city. At the same, it gives you confidence on the highways. Apart from the premium price and the poor grab rail, the Honda CB300R is all that you could ever want in a bike.

  • Low fuel tank capacity

    Arvind Kumar Shukla

Fuel tank capacity is very low
    It should be 15 litter
The rear disk should be 240mm
    Very chunky and aggressive pickup
    Superb top speed
    Refined engine
    Phenomenal breaking
    Good for city riding
    No heating issue in traffic
Good mileage as compared to other 300cc bikes
Taillight needs more improvement in design.

As a beginner, this is one of the best bikes that you could start on. The bike is super easy and comfortable to maneuver in the city. At the same, it gives you confidence on the highways. Apart from the premium price and the poor grab rail, the Honda CB300R is all that you could ever want in a bike.

Super excited to see cb300r bs6 after bs4 stop manufacturing for a while, looks more badass than the previous version, riding super comfortable even for a long commute, most importantly the price 37k higher than the old version while 85/90% is same,bs6 tyre comes with MRF bs4 with Michelin which is more expensive in market, the usd fork gold looks great after all at this price range i expect more better tyre, price should be more cheaper.

    Ashwin

    Tsahu

Before I took a test ride, I almost finalized this bike to book based on the 10Year Honda bike experience and Reviews on this bike. When I actually saw this and took a test ride, my god it's just a costly plastic toy that has a good bike engine. Not at all worth 3.3 Lac of hard-earned money. Honda should rethink what they are charging vs what they are giving to customers.

  • Honda fan boys honest review.

    Ragu

Clocked 4000kms.Been waiting for this bike for 3 and a half years, worth the wait. Although it's overpriced a bit (but also priced closer to its competitors), doesn't disappoint in its performance. Feels premium in every aspect
    Pros:
Has the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment
    Great handling
    Lightweight
    Butter smooth engine
Good mileage for a 300 cc
    Cons:
    Average rear brake
    Weak headlight
Could've given more features for its price.

  • Falling in love with each ride

    Sohel Khan

Pros: buttery smooth, power availability at every level, sleek handler, extremely lightweight, terrific acceleration, comfortable, head turner looks, 0-100 under 6 sec.
Cons: no Bluetooth, small fuel tank capacity, no accessories from honda, pricy, limited color options, limited dealer & service network.
Worth a test drive. For me, it grew slowly, and now loving it more than any other bike.
