I bought the bike in 2019 till date the bike is extremely smooth. Not a single issue with the bike. 100% reliable.
Other than regular service only tyre change is done. Very pocket-friendly. Top speed 161 which is very decent for our kind of roads. I get a mileage of 30kmpl in the city(I know great right) what's even greater on highway cruising is 80-100 110 mileage of 35-37 has been achieved. I know of some owners who ride sanely below 70kmph and get 40kmpl. Overall happy with my purchase. If you have a requirement for one bike to do it all with no reliability worries, this bike ticks that box with confidence. The only con that I have about the bike is the headlight is slightly poor on the highway but it is nothing that an aftermarket light can't fix.

The stock tyres are good but once you put a slightly sporty tyre for the bike like Apollo H1 or ROSSO 2 the bike's performance increases with regards to cornering and braking.

Purchased this bike on Feb 24. I have nearly been to 12 test rides of various bikes but the one bike that surprised me and kept me smiling is this bike out of all. It is very quick in city and so smooth even in 130-140. The brakes are on point and don't disappoint. The service quality of Big Wing Honda is not great and it's just ok

The Honda CBR300R is a lightweight, beginner-friendly motorcycle with a single-cylinder engine that offers good value for the money:
Engine: The 286cc liquid-cooled engine delivers smooth, predictable power, and the lightweight clutch pull reduces stress in city traffic. However, some say the engine performance is modest compared to competitors.
Handling: The bike's lightweight design and responsive suspension make it fun and nimble to ride, especially around town.
Braking: The CBR300R offers great braking performance
Design: The bike has a neo-retro design with a round headlight, muscular bodywork, and a split seat setup.
Features: The CBR300R comes with full LED illumination, an LCD unit with all the necessary readouts, and ABS for added safety.

I don't understand the Indians. This is such an awesome machine but the sales figures are not good. I thought this wouldn't be comfortable riding and wouldn't be good for highways but after riding this bike it gives a good comfortable ride and also has good stability on highways. The only problem is the pillion comfort. The riding posture is excellent, which makes this bike comfortable. The pros are it is very Agile, Lightweight, Acceleration, Good riding posture(for 5.7 riders), Ultra smooth engine, Reliability, Awesome mid-range, Good mileage of around 35 kmpl. The cons are it has less pillion comfort.

It's a beautiful machine. The first 3 gears give you mad pull then it calms down from 4th. Very good torque for slow speeds. Sharp braking. Great for city maneuvering with 146kg weight. Very low nvh. No heating issues. Build quality is good. I would say take a test ride before coming to conclusions from the numbers.

  • Owners perspective of HONDA Cb300r after 3yrs

    Jeremy Rozario
