One of the great 150cc bikes.

I bought this bike in 2014. It's been almost 10 years and it is running like a charm. I am getting a mileage of around 45 kmpl even after so many years. I have driven more than 65000 km. No issues faced till now. Look is awesome better than its competitor Pulsar 150. The seat is comfortable, handling is good, can drive long distances without any discomfort. I have traveled 400 km with comfort. Service cost is very minimal. Very low maintenance. Feel bad that this bike has been discontinued. This is overall a great bike.

It is an all-rounder bike, you may ride it in any place. Pick-up and driving comfort are amazing. Its mileage is very good, 57 to 60 km per litter. It has an appalling look and the builds quality is really nice. You will never get tired while driving this bike for a long time. It is very comfortable to drive. No heating issues. Low maintenance.

This bike I bought in 2013 on installment they initially told me Rs. 85000/- but after 1 year installment I paid almost 1 lakh and 10 thousand . Bike gives a mileage of 35-40. There is a severe brake failure and the bike skids. Front end designing is not good and there is no bumper on the back like pulsar 150 model. It's an average bike nothing special.

Best Bike of Honda for touring long distance
6 years ago
Chinmay Padgaonkar
Good for long distance touring. Refined Engine. Eye-catching looks in green color. Good rider and pillion comfort as well. Worst braking. Worst handling in corners. Part availability takes time. Gives less average year after year. Poor headlight bulb. Feels vibration after 110kmph but not that much. The top speed I have taken is around 130kmph. Can go easily to 123 but struggle after that. Can go upto 135kmph.

An average looking bike with an average performance and bad riding experience
6 years ago
Harmeet Singh
Hi guys, i am using this bike from last 4 years. To buy honda trigger is easy, showroom guys are really helping a lot, In starting i really like the riding experience, but after 2 years i don't feel the same level of confidence about riding, now i really have to be very careful. The balance and griping is not the same at all. Even i have new tyres. Looks are average as compared to other bikes in the same segment.Performance - as i mentioned above in starting the performance of the bike is really amazing, but now i feel its just average . Even mileage is not like before, big drop in the mileage of the bike, i am getting only 40 now, that too if i am driving in a decent way.Servicing and maintenance is easy, not too costly, but i will prefer that you should find some service guy outside of honda service, because i see honda guys charge you more and for extra work , which is not even required at all.Pros - digital speedometer, big rear tyre , pillion seat is comfortable, the driving position is excellent. Cons - mileage issue, balance is not good.

Don't like honda bike
K N Mishra
Buying experience was average.Look of trigger was good. I relied upon brand honda as bikes with front and rear disc brakes were not available at the price honda offered . But i feel cheated. It never gave mileage above 45kmpl on highways and 40 kmpl in the city. But claimed mileage was 60kmpl. Stability and control on the road is worse than its sibling unicorn. Headlight is poor. The worst thing is that very cheap quality parts have been used that makes this bike unreliable. Within a year i had to change clutch and accelerator wire. In the next year i had to change electrical switches. In third year had to change boleser set of its handle and also front shocker spring and oil seal. And today after four years of its purchase i am getting change its rear wheel ball-bearing. I will like to clarify here that i am not a rash driver like youngsters. Only latches on my part is that due to lack of time i couldn't get my bike serviced exactly on time as specified by honda. My experience with trigger is horrible. I don't have idea about honda scooters but i will certainly suggest not to buy honda bikes at all.

Honest review of honda trigger cbs
Sarath
Buying decision
Well my weight is 105 kgs. I'm into sales profession. My first bike was bajaj ct 100 followed by yamaha fazer 125cc , then stunner pgm-fi. Honda stunner pgm-fi was a good bike but because of the worst after sales service by honda i had to sell the bike. But before selling the bike i short listed pulsar 150cc, fazer 150, cbz, apache. Coz after 125 cc stunner i thought of upgrading to 150cc perse. But looking for refined engine with better mileage i finally ended up with honda trigger cbs.
Riding experience
Since I've been working in fmcg company i have to roam like 40 to 60 kms per day minimum and some times 90 kms per day depending up on my work requirement. Trigger is good bike like almost at par with unicorn. I usually drive with in 50kph. It is good enough to cruise with out any lagging. So riding experience is like 3.5/5.
Looks & performance..
Well to say i bought this bike for refinement and mileage only. I never thought about looks. But being 38 years old that to into sales profession i didn't give a thought.
Performance....
It's plain simple. You take care of your bike, it will take care of you. My max speed is 50kph and if necessary sometimes i go upto 60kph. Its all about respect your bike. When it comes to mileage when riding with in 50kph my bike gives 57kpl.
Servicing & maintenance...
Me being into sales i have to take care of my bike. My work life depends on the health of my bike.
Servicing every 2000 kms
Spark plug and air filter every 5000 kms
Battery every 2 years
While general service is one thing but when you choose to change the other spare parts,, it will sure put a big hole in your pocket.
If you want to replace front brake pads the cost would be 1450/-, which is ridiculous. When ever i go to service center i pray to god that there should not be any major part change.
Honestly maintenance wise this bike is not pocket friendly, now you understand that why i cruise at 50kph. I apply brakes lightly and carefully.
Pros
Refined engine and better fuel efficiency. Good for family and good for work also.
Cons
Maintenance wise this bike is not good bike. The cost of spares are high. The head light is very worst. For a 150 cc bike the genius's of honda has given only 5 amps battery with ac 35 watt head light.
Conclusion.. The review is honestly based on my day to day usage. I'm not saying to not to buy honda bikes but i'm not asking also to buy. As the after sales service is worst.

Tips for other riders
Regular service with oil change every 2000 kms i usually inflate my tyres with nitrogen as the tyres are tubeless. I use chain lube spray for every 400 kms. Engine oil with grade 20w-50 in summer and 10w-40 during winters. Bike wash every fortnight.
