this bile has got the smoothest engine cb unicorn is fast as cheetah when i pressed the self start of my cb unicorn for the first time. I shouted wow this engine is so smooth.

When the bike is in a halt in traffic hold the clutch you will forget the bike's engine is on or off

fuel economy: it has the best fuel economy, i usually get a mileage of 50 in the city and 57 on highway this impressive figures are acheived when this bike is revved under 60 to 80

when it comes to ride quality and handling, the cb unicorn takes the cake as it produces the most horsepower. This bike's handling is like a true sports bike, i experienced it when i took a sharp u turn and it was amazed by the handling of this bike.

honda cb unicorn is for those people who are looking a well matured bike and grown up bike this bike will not give a sudden jolt of accleration but it increases the speed in a smooth fashion

engine: performance is good, specially the smooth engine and this bike can go upto 110 to 115kms/hr with less noise, no vibration and good stability. Runs like a cheetah!!!

fuel economy: fuel economy is best in its class. I usually drive in highways than in city. I get 58kms/ltr in city limits and 63kms/ltr in highways.

Gearbox: good and smooth.

Ride quality & handling

ride quality is good and comfortable. When it comes to handling, this bike has the best road grip, no matter what the weather condition is.

this bike is for those who prefer smooth and comfortable riding with less engine noise.

Areas of improvement

service: honda's service is pathetic in all over india. Only few selected and experienced mechanics can handle this bike, well. I have seen all sort of honda mechanics in four major cities of india (mysore, bangalore, hyderabad and mumbai) in my 5 years ownership but only few mechanics were good. We should be very specific about the problems/issues when the service guy puts a job card otherwise the bike will come out the service station in a different condition.

Style: looks official and decent ok, nowadays 100cc's are coming up with 200 cc looks. But unicorn? still same old. Honda is still lethargic i feel becuase they don do anything to be on top in this competetive market,except the engine.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox: engine is the best so smooth and always hungry for speed and will not back up anytime.

Fuel economy is 60+ on highways 50+ in city.

Gear box: very bad. Beacause gear shifting is very difficult in city. When i shift the gear i feel two cluck noises when i change one gear. It is so deep i feel for eg to shift from 2nd to 3rd i feel i have to raise my toe for more than one inch! imagine the hell i go through every single day when i have to come to 1st gear from 5th?

ride quality & handling: worst, and beats all good in this bike because of the suspension.Previously i used other bikes with short handle for more than 12 years i did not have any back pain, but now i am on honda unicorn(i am using company handle only) i am suffering from severe back pain. It just throws me up for even a small ditch. I feel there’s no suspension at all for this bike(like tractor). The pain is so much that i had to visit the doctor and under medication. I also tried a long ride on this bike on nh-4 from hubli to belgaum(220kms both sides) the road is no.1 But believe me i still had horrible back pain, i really had to stop and take frequent brakes. I felt a kind of a burning on my seat(bums) and i had to had to had to get down and relax in order to move any further. After all this i limited using this bike only in city limits. I visited the nagshanthi service centre hubli as many times as possible but the problem is not getting solved. Except the service manager all other staff sounds non-technical in their talks they nod their head and say it’s very good even before listening to your problem-so foolish they argue that the suspension is 100% fine. Even the general services of honda service centres are bad, 10 days after the general service my bike there was a break down and i was shocked to open the spark plug and see carbon, they are good at one thing that is charge you rs.60 For polish even if you don’t ask for it

final words: if i am spoiling my health and unable to basically sit comfortably on the bike(because it just throws me for even a small hump or ditch) what to do with smooth engine or good mileage or whatever? i am suffering with extreme back pain.
