The Honda CRF300 Rally is a small-capacity dual-sport motorcycle that has been designed for adventurous riders. It is the more capable, adventure tourer version of the Honda CRF300L.
The CRF300 Rally draws its styling inspiration from Honda’s Dakar-winning competition-spec HRC CRF450 Rally motorcycle. The motorcycle features an asymmetric dual LED headlight unit and a tall windshield for added comfort. Meanwhile, the body panels have been revised, compared to the CRF300L, and feature the Dakar Rally-inspired graphics.
The Honda CRF300 Rally is powered by a 296cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 27bhp at 8,500rpm and 26.6Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The liquid-cooled motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox that gets an assist and slipper clutch.
The CRF300 Rally rides on a 21/18-inch spoke wheel combo, wrapped in 80/100-21 front and 120/80-18 rear tyres. It is suspended on 43mm Showa USD forks up front and a linkage-type monoshock at the back. It has an impressive ground clearance of 275mm while the seat height is quite tall at 885mm. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 296mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.
Feature-wise, the CRF300 Rally gets an LCD instrument console, switchable dual-channel ABS, and a 12.8-litre fuel tank. In India, the Honda CRF300 Rally will rival the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
