The Honda Dio is a trusty little scooter that packs a decent punch. Powered by a 109cc engine it can reach speeds up to 80 kmph which is good enough for city rides. Being lightweight at just 99 kg means it is easy to maneuver and handle even in traffic. The engine also has a good pickup so you don't have to work too hard at the throttle.

Honda dio it was my first bike and when i had gone to buy it in the showroom and when i had entered into show i had first saw the dio then i decided to buy it. By sitting on it and riding it i thought i sat on horse for a while. Dio is an sporty scooter with arrogant looks and style its pickup and reliability but unhappy with its comfort but riding the dio is an awesome experience because it is smooth on riding.

  • Buy it for smart rides

    Nagendra M

Easy to buy and fast process, Sudden pickup was decreased, Looks was nice but performance was average, Make a service for every 3000 km. Make sure to use company engine oils, Comfortable for smart ride, Minimum mileage 30-35 km/l. It’s looks good but throttle pickup was little bit low. It’s best for short ride Not good for long ride about 200.

  • Dio is it still an average or...

    Bishnu Chakraborty

The dio prices increases a 10k more, considering insurance, registration and additional components. But fear not, because this is a perfect fit for your daily commute as well as some leisure rides. The ride is smoother than most bikes I've rode so far. The weight distribution is immeasurably better than most that either tend to be overweight or underweight. The mileage is quite good but as usual, maintenance takes a serious toll if one uses it overboard. The evolving version, lately the dlx version has a nice touch between dark grey and matte black along with several other vibrant color options to choose from. The body is sturdy with metal and carbon fiber embedded on it with the finishing look that seems to just zoom past everything. As with developing engines entering the market, the usage of the mobil gets extended to almost a period of 6000 kms of usage which companies tend to overlook. The regular maintenance is quite a hassle-free process with you handing it over to the professionals and voila! out comes the same yet smoother ride. I've only had it for almost 8 months so I couldn't really notice any cons. Overall, it's been in the market long enough to get noticed by everyone yet still gets undermined every now and then.

Change oil after 5000 or so kms. Although companies tell riders to do so after 3000, those notions were for a decade earlier. New and evolving engines are entering the market with an average usage of oil exceeding 6000kms. Still as a precaution, change it before 5300 or if problems arise.

Using it from Feb 2017. Getting mileage about 45 to 50km on kolkata. Performance wise very good. Honda's engine truly great. Seat is long and comfortable, as well foot board.

But suspension its not good. Try to avoid bad patch over speed 40 km. Keep an eye on fuel indicator because suddenly you can see fuel gauge is very low, but if you just add 3 ltr petrol it can show tank is full.

At 70 km speed, you can feel handle vibration. Phoenix headlights are not so bright , i already changed it with osram 35w lamp. You can see the difference very well.

    Sai Ram

Hi , so preferring to dio bs vi it's Better taking any other one either Activa or any other company because the bs vi version is not a satisfactory bike for riders. it causes lots of vibrations there is no solutions for the vibrations at all from the company's end, for a even better cost you can get other better mopeds which have 125 cc and good pickup and ride comfort so in spite of spending so much you can go for Yamaha bikes or Activa which are more cheaper cost and better than dio far more.
