Honda Hness CB350 [2020-2022] Summary

The Honda Highness CB350 was launched in India to take on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 – the market leader. But it managed to bring in a new set of customers within and grow the segment. Positioned as an entry-level premium motorcycle, the CB350 is currently sold only through Honda’s BigWing showroom, which as of now is in limited cities. But even with current sales touchpoints, the CB350 has managed to find lots of customers all over the country.

Honda Highness CB350 Colours & Design
The Highnes CB350 is available in three colours – red, green and black. Honda has bestowed it with a design heavily inspired by the larger CB 1100 EX. It gets a round headlamp, a curvy fuel tank, a leather tan seat, chopped fenders, and a chrome-finished exhaust. Meanwhile, the presence of blacked-out components and alloy wheels also lend it a modern appeal. The tail section looks quite neat – not too busy not too sober.

Honda Highness CB350 Mileage & Performance
The CB350 offers good mileage. If ridden sanely, the bike easily churns out 30-35kmpl. The 348cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 20.5bhp at 5,500rpm and 30Nm at 3,000rpm offers lots of refinement and smoothness. It is one of the reasons why so many Indian customers preferred this Honda over a Royal Enfield. The gearbox too, offers slick shifts.

Honda Highness CB350 Specifications & Features
The bike is built around a double cradle frame which is linked to the telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. Stopping power comes from a 310mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc at the back. The bike is 2163mm long and has a wheelbase of 1441mm. The ground clearance stands at 166mm which is decent for a bike this size. The overall kerb weight of the bike is 181kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.

Honda Highness CB350 Alternatives
The Highness CB350 sees the Royal Enfield Classic 350 as well as the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 as its competitions. The Jawa Forty-Two also competes with this Honda but the CB350 manages to come as a winner due to its strong brand recall.

Honda Hness CB350 [2020-2022] Review

  • Good Things

    • Modern retro styling is great to look at
    • Gets dual-channel ABS
    • Exhaust sounds good
  • Could be Better

    • Pillion seat has less space
    • Sold only through Bigwing outlets

BikeWale's Take

The Highness CB 350 is the Royal Classic 350 rival but with modern equipment. The bike is loaded with features and is powered by a brand new 350cc engine. The exhaust sound of this Honda is pretty good. Unfortunately, the bike isn’t available through all Honda showrooms.

Honda Hness CB350 [2020-2022] Expert Opinion

The Honda CB350 was developed only with one intention – take some sales away from Royal Enfield. So the bike had to carry a few aspects like modern retro styling, a good exhaust thump and also lots of aspiration. While Honda managed to bring in some of these aspects to the table, it also got some more things that might make the CB350 Honda’s most renowned premium brand.

I bought the 1st-anniversary green bike in 2022. It was love at first sight for me and my dad. I just loved the performance and the looks. It gets my attention everywhere I go. Millage is okay but the power and torque it produces are good. The exhaust note is just amazing. Everything is amazing except the service. The bigwing outlet's service is too expensive and parts are too expensive. Every bad service every time I go. But overall the bike is just amazing.

      Honda hness 2 year review

      Juzer

I had booked this bike, in mid 2020, and been riding this bike regularly on my daily commute as well as occasional 1 day rides of around 300 kms (to&fro). I have clocked almost 17k kms now, and loved the every bit of riding experience on it.
      Lets start with the basics
      1. Looks wise innitially i would get comments like "honda ki bullet hai kya?".. To the untrained it might look like a bullet, but trust me it feels nothing like it, the feel and comfort on this bike is awesome, the built quality is good, though it can use a tiny bit improvement on certain parts like mud grads can be better, engine and bike chain issues (rusting) were common in earlier cases.
      2. Ride quality - even at long rides of 150 km + at a time, there is no fatigue, the bike handles smoothly and you can just enjoy the wind in your face, the torque is refined and the clutch is super light, i mean u can push it with your pniky fingure.
Despite the bike looking bulky, it glides through traffic effortlessly, i happen to ride daily on some of the wort patches on can expect for traffic, but this bike has super control and dexterity.
      3. Service or maintenance. - 1 major issue i faced was early wearing off of the break pads, the standard honda break pads, though good, wear off easily, i mean mine where out in 7.5-8k kms, but overall service cost of the bike is low; compared to the segment. You generally end up shelling 4-5k in service (out of warranty) but thats ok considering the performance of the machine.
      Conclusion:
Overall the bike is reliable and built perfectly for daily commuters and occasional riders, handles itself perfectly in traffic and on highways.

I am having honda hness cb350 dlx pro chrome. Here is the review:
      1. These premium bikes are available at bigwing showroom only and they are not everywhere for servicing and everything I have to travel around 20kms.
      2. Good riding experience very smooth
      3. Looks and performance is good
I earlier thought it was a good bike to ride in city traffic like Hyderabad when compared to classic and other retro bikes so I have gone for it, now I feel this is the best. Smoother than butter than you think. I love it.

The bike has an economy display on the screen. If we can maintain the economy we will have good mileage and performance.

Its a beautiful looking bike. But performance wise honda can be made it more powerful. By considering honda engines incredible reliability factor.

Highness cb350 gives you a proper retro feel without vibrations, I am regularly using this and ride almost 50+kms/day and it gives me the best ride feeling till now. The gear system is a bit long but it asks for shifts at regular intervals. The noise/vibrations will also not disturb your riding peace/comfort.

Only two times, I have ridden this bike.
Amazing feelings, great opportunity for me.
I m going to buy this one & only bike in just 15 days.
Earlier I also liked royal enfield like others.
But the first time I drove this bike. There is no other going to be a favorite for me...
I love only & only my honda cb 350.

Majestic highness. Well deserved crown of the highness!!

      Fredrick Savio Fernandes

The bike is fantastic, with good pickup and smooth engine refinement especially on the highways even at 100 kmph. I have driven it for a couple of 250 km long drives nonstop, with no back pain no stiffness in the butt with full body protection. I am 55 years old and love riding this bike it's a show-stopper. Sales and service by big wing Mumbai are very good. Total km drove 12908. Honda should add sales of merchandise of the highness in a big way @ big wing dealership where they sell these bikes. More color options could be made available.
