Bought the anniversary edition at palace Honda Mysore. Absolutely worth the additional 4000rs over the pro version as it comes with splits seats (a new one is 3300₹) golden Honda & highness logo, chrome side stand, the anniversary edition decal in gold on the fuel tank and a few more. I love the thundering sound of the bike while riding. Shifting is so clean. Amazing pickup. And the best of all - its a Honda....Absolutely value for money.

Tips for other riders
The shifters are clean. Yes its a 5 speed bike compared to the earlier Duke 390 which us 6vspeed. But still does it's job very well. More over I'm a safe rider who seldom rides above 70 km/h. The looks are absolutely classic. Was considering Meteor but then I didn't like the sales support. And its a RE which has become too common.

Buying experience: awesome treatment in the showroom anytime if you go into any bigwings Riding experience: very comfortable, smooth, love to go in the city and long drives. Clutch is very smooth compared to re and other bikes in this segment.Details about looks, performance etc.: I would like to have 30 bhp, which is an awesome pickupServicing and maintenance: bangalore has only 2 service centers, need to have at least 10 covering all corners and centers in the cityPros and cons: add more accessories like re in the showroom itself and add more service centers.

It's a modern retro classic motorcycle. Looks like a motorcycle from the 60s but with a superb smooth engine, traction control, slipper clutch, dual channel abs, and digital & analog display without a tachometer. Very smooth to ride and the clutch is very light to use. Hence good for city commutes as well as comfortable long rides. I have used it for local commutes within bangalore city as well as a couple of bangalore to kanyakumari trips. Have covered around 3000 kms. The 4th and 5th gear ratios are on the taller side and designed for highway cruising. It's like you need to reach 70kmph speed before shifting to 5th gear and around 45 to 50 kmph speed before shifting to 4th gear. Perfect for highway cruising. Till 85kmph the engine runs in eco mode indicated in the dashboard. If maintained at this speed bike returns around 45 kmpl mileage. The rear brake is spongy and the front brake is good. Front suspension is slightly on the stiffer side while rear suspension seems to be on the softer side offering good highway ride comfort. The first service was done in tirunelveli bigwing (rehoboth) as I had clocked close to 1000 kms when I was on my way to kanyakumari from bangalore. It was a nice experience. The service center mechanics were very good and the whole experience was pleasant. After returning back to bangalore I noticed uneven tension with the chain. Cleaned and lubed the chain and adjusted the chain tension before my trip back to kanyakumari. During the trip it was smooth. After reaching kanyakumari, again chain was tight. Checked the links which were not straight and complained to the service center. They raised a warranty claim with honda which was rejected saying that it is a wear and tear issue. I have owned multiple bikes like cbr250r, ninja650, yamaha fzs and never faced this kind of issue that too within a few kilometers of usage. Now I think I have to buy a new chain and replace it.Apart from this issue, the motorcycle is a gem. I think if after-sales service issues are taken care it would be a perfect ownership experience.
