Got mileage of

34 kmpl

I bought the bike (Beast) in July 2023. It is not yet 1 year of age. Have rode 17k kms. I loved every ride from the bottom of my heart. Such a smoothness and elegance while driving it. I have driven it from Coimbatore to Goa twice and to Rameshwaram once. Also from Coimbatore to Palakkad twice in a week to see my family. I do not put tank cover. I wanted it to look like a beast to added Tank guard instead. for storage I added a STUDD box to the back right and the bumper, I designed and made a new model (Spider) with the help of Ambal Auto Work in Erode district.
I wanted my Beast to be at its best. So left it in service as soon as the spanner symbol blinks and it completed 3 services by 3rd March at 12,000 kms. So the next due was when it reached 18,000 kms or Spanner symbol.
But at 17,000km when I rode to near by district on a Saturday, I heard sound from the chain space whenever I reduce the speed. I was annoyed and wanted to take it service center as soon as I reach Coimbatore. On Monday, I was in Coimbatore, I started to Palakkad and going through Coimbatore City traffic, when all of a sudden the Chain jumped out of the back wheel sprocket. Initially, I didn't understand what happened as the sound was like some steel tin stuck under the bike. then i found chain was out of the sprocket but it didn't get cut. Thankfully I had RSA and my brother helped to send it to service center.
I was afraid what would have happened if I have taken the Palakkad highway and this happened? definitely I would have been here typing this. I was expecting some R&D and convincing points from the technical team. but unfortunately, this is being considered as physical damage and would not come under warranty as well.
even money doesn't matter much, I could not see any one talking about why the chain jumped out from the sprocket even if it loose. but noone is interested in that topic. So lost faith in Service team and I would not be interested to ride this Beast without any guarantee to my life with two kids waiting for me at my home as well. Soon will sale it and try to go from some other reliable one if one exists.

Tips for Honda Hness CB350

I lubricated my chain every 500km. I have ridden to goa and rameshwaram from Coimbatore. Use my bike only for long rides and mostly avoid taking it inside the city. Thank god I took it via City when the chain jumped out of the sprocket. I was riding below 40km/h and escaped without any big damage. So my TIP is whether your bike chain gets sound or becomes loose or not, Please go and get it changed when it reaches around 13k to 14k. if not, any time the chain will jump out of the Sprocket and you might well end up in a major accident without knowing what exactly happened.

Everything about the bike is just perfect. This is my first bike and I will never have any regrets about it. I recommend this bike to everyone who has the budget around it, and I've offered test rides of my bike to prove myself right. Comfort on the other hand is debatable, me being 6'3 the shoulders, and back start hurting after a couple of hours. PS - Every time I'm walking to my bike I just see it and start smiling cheek to cheek. Balanced, comfort has room for improvement

I bought this bike last year and still, it is given good performance & comfortable for a long ride.
And the mileage part is also good. The sound of the bike is very. After the 1 year still, it is running like when I used it the first time. Not need to go to the service centre again and again if you are finding any issues then visit the service centre.

  • A classic bike with touch of modern bits.

    Mani Varshith

I bought a bike in June 2023 and it's been more than 1.5 years initially I was having trouble with the long gearing so frequent shifts in the city but later I got used to it. Delivery of the bike is okay with the showroom. Servicing is a little bit complex, parts are not available for about a month easily, and takes time and is costly compared to all others. The battery on the bike is very weak and always be around 12 to 13v. Milleage is around 35-36 city and highway mix.
Overall comfort of the bike is good but needs an extender to the handle which adds more comfort to the bike.
The styling of the bike is unique but there is a design fault where in rainy season from the back mudguard water comes onto the seat and the whole bike becomes dirty. It's not powerful in segment but does the job.

Honda means trust, a very smooth and reliable engine, light clutch, comfortable riding position, and roaring and thumping exhaust sound, one problem is headlight visibility is less but it is okay for city and village roads but on highways you need to install auxiliary headlights for better visibility. Compared to RE it is a better bike with, a lightweight, smooth engine, slipper and assist clutch, better exhaust sound, more torque, and suspension quality, the front suspension is a little bit stiff but okay, rear suspension is better.

  • Worstest magwheel

    Nandapasad

The quality of the mag wheel is the worst
Buying this bike waste of money
While I traveling near Kuloor suddenly I got a pothole filled with water so I lost control of my vehicle and caused damage to the mag wheel
The service manager said it was not the manufacturer's fault
The insurance company denied my claim
Please think and check when buying this hopeless bike

This bike has the best combo of performance, looks, refinement, quality, and millage. The performance is very good and I think no other 350cc bike gives mileage of about 40, you can easily get mileage up to 45 on highways. The quality and refinement are the best in the segment. I would prefer to go for a Honda Hiness or 350rs instead of re Classic or Jawa.

  • It's a practical, feature-loaded, modern retro legend.

    Monish Chandran

It all started with my first test ride. I initially had no intention of buying this bike. All I wanted to do was check it out before making a decision. After the test ride, I became a bit obsessed with the bike—whether it was the exhaust note, seating stance, mirror positioning, engine behavior, buttery-smooth clutch, or the abundance of features. There wasn't a single reason to reject this masterpiece.
The only thing some might consider is the price—it could have been 10k less than what’s listed on paper. But still, many would be willing to pay that for the Honda name. The weight distribution was excellent, with no engine vibrations, and I found it easy to ride in traffic. The fuel economy is worth mentioning: I get 25 km/l in heavy traffic and over 40 km/l on highways, which works for me.
I've completed my first service, and the experience was premium, just as expected. I also rode the RE Hunter and Classic, but I can confidently say that in every aspect, the H'ness is the king.
To sum it up in one statement: "It's a practical, feature-loaded, modern retro legend." I'm hopeful it will continue to perform well in the future.

I sold my Speed 400 and bought a Highness. While the Highness isn't meant for breaking speed records, it offers a truly regal riding experience. From the moment I took the test ride, I felt a connection that I never experienced with my Speed. This is one of the best bikes you can own and enjoy for years to come.

  • Honda road sync is not supporting iPhone

    Prasanna Kumar

I purchased h’ness this year in July. The day-one app is not supported on my iPhone. I complained about the issue, they said it supports only for android not an ios. At the time of purchase, I don’t the issue. This app is comfortable for attending the calls, Navigation and notifications while driving. I suggest, pl enquire before purchases. It’s a small issue but it bigger one sometimes.
The rest of the others is good like riding comfort, mileage, response from staff and service is good.

  • Bike is too good but, closely monitor the Service process!

    Rajkumar Reddy Chetkuri

I bought this bike on 03/04/2024. I ride the bike only once on Highway but I use it for City Commuter! The bike is too good in the 350CC segment and engine smoothness will not give a feel as if you are riding an engine of that Capacity! I rode the RE 350 Classic earlier but, after a two-hour ride, my body still felt its vibration.
Honda Hness never give that vibration and its butter smooth engine handles everything you require on a ride. A high-powered engine with all LED lightings, advanced instrument cluster, Traction Control, Bluetooth Connectivity, and Eco mode what not, it's a package for a good ride!
Service-wise, I have given my vehicle for service in Hubli and left to my office. I don't know whether they changed the oil or not. I got the backrest fitted, they fit an already-used one on which the scratches are visible to the naked eye. I insisted on changing the same and when they removed the back seat, water was still left under the seat which caused stains on under seat body.
I haven't felt the smoothness of service so, I doubt the Oil change. Also, I opted for Teflon coating but, after seeing water under the seat, I could imagine what had been done to my vehicle!
I demanded CCTV footage of vehicle service done for my vehicle but, they insisted I come to the showroom and check the Cameras. I think it was just a reason to avoid video sharing. Even Honda didn't respond to the complaint. In the era of digitization, they asked me to visit the showroom to check the service!
I wanted to avoid that particular service centre in Hubli but, it is the only option at present for me.

And the mileage part is also good. The sound of the bike is very. After the 1 year still, it is running like when I used it the first time. Not need to go to the service centre again and again if you are finding any issues then visit the service centre.
