  • Best Bike over any RE bike

    Prashant Neve

I bought this bike last Diwali and from then I haven't encountered a single issue. Maintenance of this bike is very low and its reliability is amazing. It gives the best mileage and power at the same time. People say it's NOT A ROYAL ENFIELD but I have driven every 350cc RE no bike gave me such fun while riding. Looks like it's slightly on the lower point as compared to RE but I installed its company-fitted rear armrest and saddle bag holder which gave my bike the best look. I recommend anyone to equip the original company-fitted accessories for the harness because it gives you the best looks. Maintenance is very hassle-free. Anyway, this bike is overall perfect over choosing RE.

Amazing machine. Just loved it. It has no vibrations and very smooth comes with a refined engine. Good road presence is a head-turner. also exhaust is very much bessy and it feels so nice.
There are so many pros since the motorcycle itself is a pro.
No cons yet found but recommend maintaining it properly to avoid rusting or any issues.

    1. Buying experience was smooth, thought if buying the RS but had some soft spot for the H'ness as well.. Didnt wanna go for RE.. since the roads are pakced with RE and founf RE's clutch to be very hard.. Went for the H'ness since the pillion comfort was better than RS. And it did not disappointment me.
    2. Riding experience is smooth AF, no vibrations even at 120.. very stable, havent faced any issues in the riding, but quick gear shifts is what disappointments me in city rides, but who gives a F.. as time goes on You get used to it. And its fun at the same time.
    3. Retro (Anime bike) looks is what I would define this bike to be.. The RS cafe racer(extra 20k for the accesories) was what made me choose the RS more.. but since I went for the Hness,, the cafe racer look would be okayish, but no idea for the Maroon red..
    4. Finished my 1st service, and KUN Honda Bingwing is a big plus in Chennai. Bought the 10k service package and gonna use it for the next 5 times.
    5. Pro's - Riding, Comfort, Looks(secondary), 350cc Thumps and the Maroon red looks>
Cons: Gear shifting while riding in lower speeds, not much heavy but once u need to pull ur bike out from a pit then youre a goner, Colour fadking of the chrome silencer in the front part only ( looks cool tho ) depends upon the person..
    Happy buying guys!

Excellent bike from Honda. Fit and finish, parts quality, refinement everything is top notch.
For a long stroke engine the refinement level is great. Smooth clutch and brakes are decent enough.
I choose this bike over cb 350 because the design of highness is unique when compared to the cb 350. And second the exhaust note. The Exhaust note is more bassy in the lower RPMs and mellows when the rpm picks up. The bike has good torque. Newbies might find the tall gearing annoying. Upgrading the rear sprocket to 2-3 teeths up might solve the gearing, if you find it problamatic. The quality of bigwing service is also good and they are professional and transparent. Fuel efficiency is decent. Overall a nice experice so far with the bike and bigwing. Anyone who is not in a hurry and need a decent mordern classic experience can go for this bike. You can never go wrong with HONDA.

  • A Beast with no Guarantee for LIFE.

I bought the bike (Beast) in July 2023. It is not yet 1 year of age. Have rode 17k kms. I loved every ride from the bottom of my heart. Such a smoothness and elegance while driving it. I have driven it from Coimbatore to Goa twice and to Rameshwaram once. Also from Coimbatore to Palakkad twice in a week to see my family. I do not put tank cover. I wanted it to look like a beast to added Tank guard instead. for storage I added a STUDD box to the back right and the bumper, I designed and made a new model (Spider) with the help of Ambal Auto Work in Erode district.
I wanted my Beast to be at its best. So left it in service as soon as the spanner symbol blinks and it completed 3 services by 3rd March at 12,000 kms. So the next due was when it reached 18,000 kms or Spanner symbol.
But at 17,000km when I rode to near by district on a Saturday, I heard sound from the chain space whenever I reduce the speed. I was annoyed and wanted to take it service center as soon as I reach Coimbatore. On Monday, I was in Coimbatore, I started to Palakkad and going through Coimbatore City traffic, when all of a sudden the Chain jumped out of the back wheel sprocket. Initially, I didn't understand what happened as the sound was like some steel tin stuck under the bike. then i found chain was out of the sprocket but it didn't get cut. Thankfully I had RSA and my brother helped to send it to service center.
I was afraid what would have happened if I have taken the Palakkad highway and this happened? definitely I would have been here typing this. I was expecting some R&D and convincing points from the technical team. but unfortunately, this is being considered as physical damage and would not come under warranty as well.
even money doesn't matter much, I could not see any one talking about why the chain jumped out from the sprocket even if it loose. but noone is interested in that topic. So lost faith in Service team and I would not be interested to ride this Beast without any guarantee to my life with two kids waiting for me at my home as well. Soon will sale it and try to go from some other reliable one if one exists.

Thank god I took it via City when the chain jumped out of the sprocket. I was riding below 40km/h and escaped without any big damage. So my TIP is whether your bike chain gets sound or becomes loose or not, Please go and get it changed when it reaches around 13k to 14k. if not, any time the chain will jump out of the Sprocket and you might well end up in a major accident without knowing what exactly happened.

The paperwork was handled efficiently, and the delivery process was prompt. The bike provides a comfortable and upright seating position, reducing fatigue on long journeys. The availability of spare parts has been good, and the cost of maintenance has been reasonable compared to other bikes in this segment. The best advantage is LED lighting and a comprehensive digital instrument cluster. There is some cons too Rusting issue occurs and Depending on the availability of authorized service centers and dealerships may be limited, affecting service convenience.

    The buying experience was nice.
long ride means the seat has to be changed or an extra cushion is needed.
Performance-wise its brake pads wear out too quickly during the rainy season it does not even last 2000 kms. the rear brake is almost very hard. Also, my bike headlight went off within 10 months and they refused to service it.
    service cost is very high.

    Gaurav

I recently bought this bike and it's been about a month I'm for sure fulfilled with this bike because it has some gorgeous and awesome looks that compared to this variant no bike has, even while riding everybody on the road notices it too due to its awesome face-lift looks. Every one of them asks about this bike's function and body looks. I would definitely suggest to new bike buyers that please if you want to purchase a new bike with good looks and a budget-friendly price, You can definitely go with the new HONDA HNESS 350.

    Ck

    1.a. Idling issue:
As soon as I start the engine the acceleration picks up to 3 to 4 RPM and stays for a longer time than usual. Ideally, for the HONDA cruise models, this feature is added in place of ‘Chokes’ that other regular vehicles have.
1.b. No buzzers provided for indicators:
The buzzers for the indicators are not being provided for any of the cruise bike models. This feature is very must required. Any automobile expert recommends this feature in vehicles, as this adds to the SAFETY of the driver if at all the driver forgets to turn off the indicator, the buzzer reminds him to turn it off.
    1.c. Fault in battery cover:
There is a problem with the locking system in the battery cover. Even after locking the cover, the cover doesn’t lock on the one side, as there is only one stud that’s gets pressed against a hole and other is a hook which gets locked firmly. The one with stud can be removed easily, which is left with the key lock in the bottom and hook lock on the top. Any miscreants can easily remove the stud part and break open the cover and steal the battery.

Any miscreants can easily remove the stud part and break open the cover and steal the battery.

• A Beast with no Guarantee for LIFE.

    Gunasekaran J

    Tips for other riders

I lubricated my chain every 500km. I have ridden to goa and rameshwaram from Coimbatore. Use my bike only for long rides and mostly avoid taking it inside the city.

    Tips for other riders

I lubricated my chain every 500km. I have ridden to goa and rameshwaram from Coimbatore. Use my bike only for long rides and mostly avoid taking it inside the city.

It is advisable to place a bash plate for additional protection of the chassis and underbody. It's better to place backrest for pillion rider to avoid backpain.
