Honda PCX 125 is expected to launch in India in July 2025 in the expected price range of ₹ 85,000 to ₹ 1,10,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to PCX 125 are Okaya Faast F2F, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 & TVS Jupiter 125. Another bike similar to PCX 125 is Honda QC1 which is launching in January 2025 in India.
Honda India unveiled the PCX 125 scooter at the 2014 Auto Expo. This was the first premium scooter ever showcased by the Japanese manufacturer in India.
The PCX125 is loaded with some unique features like Honda’s patented enhanced Smart Power, smart navigation and theft proof system. The scooter is powered by a single-cylinder liquid-cooled 125cc engine with a start-stop system that will help save fuel and result in better fuel economy. The engine is fuel-injected and is mated to a V-Matic transmission. Braking power comes from 220mm hydraulic disc with combined 3-piston caliper at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. The PCX 125 can carry 6.2litres of fuel at a single go and has a kerb weight of 124.4kg.
The overall body proportions of the scooter are pretty big, very different from the ones sold in India. In fact, it looks very similar to the Hero ZIR which was also unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo. We are sure Honda will get this scooter in India once they see a market for it which is expected to happen in the next few years.
