The bike is very lightweight and easy to maneuver and control. I bought a matte black Honda sp125 after going through reviews and comparing bikes on bikewale site. The bike is just like its rating. Excellent one. Not much maintenance is needed. Comfort riding at higher speeds. It cost me around 113k in Hyderabad from the Honda showroom including all costs. Suitable for regular commutes and not compromising the looks.
    Pros:
Very lightweight and easily controlled in heavy traffics
Excellent mileage for a bike that looks huge
Servicing is good in authorized centres
I rode the bike at 95 kmph and had no issues.
    Cons:
The Max speed is only 99 kmph

Riding was comfortable and gear shifting is smooth and no need to shift gears occasionally as in other bikes at low speed and high gear.
Eye catching looks at less price, with cheap maintenance with Honda provides free service for 1+1 year with 500 rupee only.
Pro:- high mileage with awesome looks and digital speedometer with everything packed with this.
Cons:- rear tyre should be broad as for the muscular look of the bike.

This bike is a very stylish look. The bike engine is so silent and smooth. The seat is long and comfortable. The mileage is really good. Good ground clearance. easy to ride. The size of the tire is good. The disc variant is very useful, it provides extra safety. Its light weight is good for an average tall person. This one is the best bike in the 125cc segment at this price range. The bike is really awesome.

Is the Honda SP 125 good for long drives?
It is best suited for city commutes only. If you want long rides, you can ride it as long as you can if ridden in the economical rpm range. To get the best fuel efficiency, you should ride it around 50kmpl on highways but, riding with this speed for hours would be impractical for highway rides.

  • Really awesome mileage bike

    Rakesh Halder

Honda sp125 is a bike that looks good and it is limited to that only because on the actual ground reality it is a terrible bike and even considering it would count as a mistake
Why am I saying so because there is nothing about this bike that is likeable?
I have a daily commute of over 35 kms and the things I have experienced are far from what is advertised
The seat is extremely uncomfortable and causes back pain.
If you drive any other bike you would immediately notice that this bike has a wider handle which Is not optimal
    The LED lights are useless
The gear shifting issue continues to this day even after 4 services and 3 additional visits to the service centre
The bike is pathetic and wasting money on it was the worst decision of my life.
