  • Great Bike , But Expensive

    Prashant Jani

PRO :- Bike is too good for the 125cc segment. Easy starting system. Heavy build quality no cracking or any sort of vibration. The initial punch is mind blowing. You can ride at 15km/h in 4th gear without any shocks. Comfort is great. Easy to handle in heavy traffic. Honda's service is great here in Surat , Gujarat.
CONS:- Too much expensive. 88k on-road. I know its BS6 but spending 88k for 125cc is not something that Indian mindset can accept. Else no complaints.

  • Super bike for daily use

    S N G

In this budget Honda sp125 is best choice compared to any other 125 cc bikes. I ride 90 km daily. I get a top speed of 115km/h after 2nd service. No vibrations occurred upto 90km/h speed. After crossing 90 it gives little bit negligible vibrations. Engine is very smooth and looks great. Braking is also good. Only rear tyre size is thin and absence of rpm meter. Otherwise best bike as compare to pulsar 125, or hero glamour 125.

    - *Performance*: In terms of performance, the 124cc engine delivers adequate power for city commuting. It's not meant for high-speed cruising but handles daily urban rides well. The ACG starter ensures silent and smooth starts, which is a nice touch.
    **4. Servicing and Maintenance:**
    - Honda motorcycles, including the SP 125, are known for their reliability and low maintenance costs. Regular servicing at authorized Honda service centers is recommended to keep the bike in good condition. Maintenance costs are typically reasonable, and spare parts are readily available.
**5. Pros and Cons (from a rider's perspective):**
    **Pros:**
    - Excellent Fuel Efficiency: The SP 125 is highly fuel-efficient, making it economical for daily commuting.
    - Honda Reliability: Honda motorcycles are renowned for their reliability and build quality.
    - Comfortable Riding Position: The upright riding posture and comfortable seat enhance the daily commuting experience.
    - Modern Design: The bike's modern and sporty design is visually appealing.
    **Cons:**
    - Limited Performance: While suitable for city riding, the SP 125 may feel underpowered for highway use or enthusiastic riders.
    - Basic Features: It lacks some advanced features found in higher-end motorcycles, like a fully digital instrument cluster.
    - Ride Quality: While good for city roads, the suspension may feel a bit stiff on rough terrain.
Please note that individual experiences may vary, and it's always a good idea to test ride the bike and consult with the dealership for the most up-to-date information and personalized advice before making a purchase decision. Additionally, any changes or updates to the model beyond my last knowledge update in September 2021 should be considered.
