Looks good - superb mileage - uncomfortable riding
4 years ago
Virendra
Pros* looks good, visually appealing.* mileage 70-75 kmpl* digital odometer looks futuristic. It has 2 trip meter. I use one for mileage count and other for daily ride km.Cons* very uncomfortable while riding through bumps and jumps. The seat is very uncomfortable and rigid. I think i have developed back pain because of it.Old splendor plus' seat is much more comfortable than this.* mileage counter is not accurate. In odometer it is shows around 84-86kmpl but in reality i get around 73 kmpl. I am thinking of replacing the seat with a comfortable one.

Engine oil starts leakages in 6000km
Rahul Kumar Jha
I have purchased this bike on 16th march. About riding experience you can't drive in night because efficiency of front head light is very low compared to other bikes. *main issue is engine oil starts leakages in 6000km i think i will face many problems regarding engine in future * if you are seeking a bike for daily use so please don't go with this * only body is attractive. Engine and internal body parts is of cheap quality.

You should go for this bike if you are a daily commuter.

I bought this bike on 17th october,2020 at around rs.95529(on road) in lucknow. Frankly speaking, the ride quality is too good. I was confused between scooter and bike as I was looking for a mileage giving vehicle as i need to ride it daily for approximate 100-120kms/day. Talking about looks, it doesn't feel low standard and when you will look at the console i.e. The digital display with all basic information like trip a, trip b (which I like the most), real time mileage along with range of km's. Best thing is smooth suspension. Upon first servicing, I used motul full synthetic engine oil which enriched my bike at an extra level with smooth ride and gear transmission. After first service, I got mileage of 83.5 - 84.7(max) with an average speed of 55 km/h. The maintenance cost is pocket friendly. Beside all pros, only the thing I found the negative points for this bike is 1. Unresponsive rear drum brake. 2. Vibration feel at speed above 65 km/h. 3. Not for highways if you wish to ride above 200 kms for a day. Overall this bike is specially for commuters as I am. So go for this bike.

Not for muddy road.

I have this bike since last 1 year. I didn't buy pulsar 125 and went for sp125 as it has very refined engine, best silent start feature. its console meter is different. it is sporty in appearance, muscular body only from the front. graphics is also good. vibration is less at high speed high mileage is achieved on eco mode. The servicing and maintenance cost so far has been very low. this is a daily use bike, which if you drive at a fixed speed, then this bike is going to give you a very long support. I have not done any long drive yet, so I cannot tell anything, but I believe that this bike will prove to be good in long drive also. has some drawbacks such as the rear tire is thin, due to which it does not look good from the rear and also less control on muddy surfaces sometimes the gear gets stuck, which can be a problem for new drivers. the bike should have a side stand sensor. the foot rest of the pillion should have been better as the bike costs more than the 125 segment bike. if you want to take this bike, then this review can prove beneficial for you.

I owned the bike 3 months ago. the buying experience was very good.the cause of selecting this bike over other was it's looks, it was like no other in the market. a young 125cc bike with youthful style, body panels, decals. damn! it's something that the other competitors misses out on. it has a perfect sized all digital speedometer with white backlit, the best feature in the console is the gear positioning indicator which many 150-160cc bikes misses. performance wise it's ok for 125cc commuter. 125cc bikes are not meant for eager ballistic performance, so I'll not comment on this. but for general use it's pretty fine for city. be it in economy range the bike feels the best. above 70 KMPH the engine feels a bit stressed, though it can touch the top genuine top speed TF 95-98-100 KMPH, even little beyond but that will be Speedo error. now the service, service is fine. it's an economical bike, so don't expect the service to be special cared . the bike will serviced as other commuter bikes with general inspection and things to done. maintenance is really low. if you love your bike with heart and soul than it will be very much dependable, and if you don't care than any bike will need more to more maintenance. so maintenance wise it ok. pros:-Great looks.Honda brand value.Great mileage.Light weight (easy to flick around city traffic). All digital speedometer with all needed features.Cons:-A bit expensive for 125cc commuter.Fit and finish (specially tank shrouds and rear tail section.Plastic quality feels flimsy.A glitch in gear here and there. Headlight is not that effective in on coming traffic. (Note:- Rear tyre section in low it may skid in wet conditions but it promotes a great mileage due to low friction, thus rear tyre is not a negative nor positive).

I am buying this bike before 5 months,. It's very good bike in this segment. Riding experience was awesome no back pain at 150 km above rides. it's looks like very sexy bike. Normal maintenance, bike is all good. Only con is the back tyre size which is thinner and need to upgrade to fatter tyres.

An all round owner's review.

Best thing about this bike is mileage. 70+ after 2nd service. Riding quality is superb both in city and high way. Very comfortable on bad roads also. Suspension of the bike is superb. Looks of the bike is like 150 cc bike. Service of Honda is good. Few cons are 1.Headlight throw 2. Bell sound on high speed.
