The Honda SP160 is a premium commuter motorcycle from the Japanese bike maker in India. It is positioned between the Honda SP 125 and the Honda Unicorn in the company’s product portfolio. It rivals the likes of the Yamaha FZ V4 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V.
The Honda SP160 features modern styling that comprises a sharp-looking headlight, muscular fuel tank with shrouds, step-up saddle, and a side-slung exhaust cannister. This premium commuter is available in six colour options – Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Dark Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Pearl Igneous Black.
The equipment list on the Honda SP160 includes an LED headlight, fully digital instrument cluster, LED taillight, engine stop switch, and a hazard switch. The instrument console features a speedometer, odometer, trip meter, gear position indicator, side stand indicator, fuel level readout, average fuel consumption, and clock. Safety features include single-channel ABS and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
The SP160 is powered by a 162.71cc, single-cylinder motor that delivers a maximum output of 13.2bhp and a peak torque of 14.59Nm. The engine complies with the OBD 2 norms and E20 fuel requirements and is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
Suspension hardware on the SP160 includes telescopic forks up front and a rear monoshock. Braking tasks are handled by a 276mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum on the base version, while the premium version gets a 220mm rear disc brake. Both variants feature a single-channel ABS.
The SP160 comes with a three-year warranty as standard, while an additional seven-year extended warranty is available as an optional extra.

Have a great long-term experience without any headaches. Riding quality is great no need to change gear to overtake, great performance even in lower gear. Style is also good, but the front headlight must have a new design, and the indicator must be LED. It must have a silent start-stop button. Its colour is grey, I love it.

The Honda sp160 is worth for money as compared to another bike with 160 cc, ground clearance, pickup, and mileage everything is perfect as per my experience. If anyone wants to buy you can go through this which is perfect for family. Students can also go for this because their looks and mileage will not burden on their pockets.

Bike Plastic body and Less Weight - Battery gone within 6 months- Not worth for Money.

Ganesh Kannan R
Hi. I bought this bike in February 2024 and used it for office commute. Even though I already did the second service within the min km. I would not recommend it for buying, so that's why. Issue: Ground clearance is not good and sometimes two persons seated, are hit on the road lane. The battery failed within 6 months. When I took it to the service center, they replaced the standby battery, which is useless for self-starting, lighting, and horn. I asked the service center, they said the battery will be replaced max of 15 days. until you can do a kick start. All you, know, is how the HMSI sales & service centers do base service in Chennai. they do only the water wash and not doing the complete check on the vehicle state.-

Hund's rule of maximum multiplicity:i. Statement: "Pairing of electrons in the orbitals belonging to the same subshell does not occur unless each orbital belonging to that subshell has got one electron each."ii. For example, according to Hund's rule, each of the three degenerate p-orbitals must get one electron of parallel spin before any of them receives the second electron of opposite spin. Therefore, the configuration of four electrons occupying p-orbitals is represented as

I purchased a Pearl Igneous Black colour Honda Sp 160 Dual disc brake motorcycle in August 2024 Advantages of this motorcycle 1) It is perfect for Riding and feels Less vibration. 2) Engine sound is low at 60-90 kmph Speed. 3) I am getting Mileage 48 kmpl. (Speed is Between (50 to 60 kmph) 4) Looks Bulky and Feels Sporty 5) Having Front Wheel (Single channel) ABS 6) Rear Tyre Size is Good 130/70 -17 7) Digital meter, Hazard light & LED headlight/Tail light 8) Gets Wheel Disc brakes 9) Having a Single seat is better for Riding with a pillion, family members/Old age persons. 10) Mono suspension at the rear is Good and feels less Jerks. 11) Feels comfortable for long rides up to 350 to 400 kms/ Day Disadvantages of this motorcycle are:-1) It is overpriced with its competitors 2) While Kick starting You have to Make a side Rider footrest3) Plastic Quality is not good 4) Front Tyre size is 80/100 -17 looks Thinner at least have 90/90-17 or 100/80 -17 Tyre at the front. 5) Missing Bluetooth & USB charging. Turn by turn Navigation 6) Utility box / Not having space for keeping personal belongings 7) Led Headlight visibility is not good at night 8) Dual channel ABS missing due to this Sometimes Rear wheel Skids. 9) Front Suspension Is 31mm at least 37 mm Suspension For better Ride At higher speeds. 10) Seat Quality/ Cushion Feels Harder Riding on potholes/ Speed breaker
