I bought this bike in Eluru.
Riding experience is good. Still though I have some problem in the BS6 variant. I'm facing problem with clutch and gear. Gears won't down. They get stuck. I have to loose clutch and then down the gear. In the meanwhile gear box makes a big round of sound. Which is really inconvenient.
In this price range of nearly one lakh and twenty thousand, the looks seem very dull. Same old speedometer and some things like that. Still though it has some improvements compared to previous models.
When it comes to servicing I am not at all satisfied.
    Reduced performance.
    Same old looks.
Riding experience is good( except for the clutch and gear box)
    Less pickup.
    Good mileage.
    Weak headlight.
Unicorn bikes are known for good engine but I am not satisfied with the engine.

The bike is very expensive and gives very less feature apart from driving comfort, headlights are very bad for night riding you have to rely on other vehicles passing by. Also, tire size is very less, not feature reach bike they can not even afford to equip bike with led headlight, no side stand notification light, the instrument cluster is analogue but it looks fine, there is no hazard light, performance-wise it good it gives 50kmpl, not good for people less tall than 5.5''.

It is about the unicorn 160 owned by me which i used to ride every day. The bike power and speed slowed down within 1 year added by a poor service by the dealers. I am forced to start the bike in the morning by applying choke otherwise it will not start when the bike is moving the engine will not tune with the apply of accelerator it always take time to raise the power which is terrible. Another danger is the vehicle will turn off when we ride. They say key is the problem, so now I am used to touch the key when it is off and even repair it is still there the service station in my locality is just a formality. When we give the vehicle for servicing with our complaints none of the complaints were looked into. The will wash and then give it back nothing more. Then we have to go again next day morning and it will lock up there till the evening and after their check and return then within one week the same problems starts. Funny thing after that a routine check call from district service shown room about the service, if I complain then say approach the same service as if they have nothing to do with this. Maintenance costs are always on the rise. Not good.

Buying this bike was a smooth affair. The riding experience so far has been smooth in the city and on the highway. I have the sports red and black color and it's a nice color. As long as you service your bike on time this bike is a joy.
The downside of this bike is as long as you drive it below 100 it's fine after that there is a lot of vibration and you know that the bike engine is strained. The upside is I have had this bike for 16yrs and it's still a joy driving this bike compared to the recent bikes.

Bought this bike 14 yrs ago and rode it for a long time. I recommend unicorn if you want a comfortable ride on long routes. Though it may not be the most catchy in its first look but still impressive on road in terms of handling and power.Maintenance and availability of parts were an issue with most of the honda 2 wheelers, hope this isn't the case anymore as it was a big no for me to go with honda again but i miss my unicorn.

Honda unicorn cb 150cc, it's a no-nonsense bike with a classy metal body look. The buying experience was good with sales timeline and waiting period pre in form to the customer, riding is smooth with a very good pick up. The biggest plus point is its a strong and sturdy bike that increases the safety feature of the rider. Mileage is great. A well maintained and serviced bike can give you a mileage of 45-50 km/litre. Less showboating as compared to other fibre body bikes, but very good and economical maintenance wise.

Though it may not be the most catchy in its first look but still impressive on road in terms of handling and power.Maintenance and availability of parts were an issue with most of the honda 2 wheelers, hope this isn't the case anymore as it was a big no for me to go with honda again but i miss my unicorn.
