The X-Blade is a sporty commuter based on Honda’s 160cc platform which also underpins the Unicorn and the CB Hornet 160R. These bikes share the same engine, which is a 163cc air-cooled, single-cylinder motor. It has been equipped with a fuel-injection system for BS6 compliance which resulted in a slight change in its power output.
The X-Blade comes equipped with an LED headlamp which boasts of a geometric design along with a compact LED tail lamp. The sharp and aggressive design of the X-Blade remained unchanged with the BS6 update. However, Honda added fresh set to decals to help it differ from the outgoing BS4 version. All the data is displayed on a fully-digital console while other features include an engine start/stop switch and a hazard switch.
For braking, it gets a 276mm petal disc up front with single-channel ABS and a 130mm drum setup for the rear. A rear disc brake is also available as an option. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels shod with 80/100-17 section tyre ahead and a 130/70-17 section one for the rear.
The Honda X-Blade BS6 is available in two variants – front disc and dual disc. In its segment, the motorcycle competes with the Yamaha FZ S V3, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the new Hero Xtreme 160R.

Is the Honda X Blade really a failure model?
Pranav S
The major reason X Blade failure model term is because of they had their own competitor 1 yr back which was hornet with same cc, which made less sales for xblade. My buying experience from the showroom was worse because they did not even fuel the bike properly. I couldn't even ride it for 100 meters. However, the bike's build quality is awesome, and the riding experience is smooth for day to day commuters. It's a decent, stylish bike suitable for both city and touring purposes, my longest ride 250 km. Service and maintenance are affordable, To retain the customer they have given me some discount for the service which provided 20 percent discount for the products and free water service. Pros: The mileage ranges from 40 to 45, though it varies.Cons: As per my personal experience, there are no major cons, other than from showroom.

The Honda X Blade is the best bike in the 160CC Segment.I have been using it since 2020 Dec. Before the Honda X Blade I used the Honda Unicorn. Honda X Blade is good for riding but you can feel some vibration at 45 to 50 kmpl speed. Maintenance cost is low, This bike has outstanding performance. You can carry heavy weight on this Bike.

1. Bought 6 years ago. Good experience. 2. Riding experience overall super and amazing.3. Amazing look Optimus Prime robotic headlight. LED headlight first-time in India on 150cc segment. Very beautiful performance.4. Very good service, 46 to 52 per liter after 6th year. Pocket-friendly maintenance. If you used fully synthetic engine oil.5. There's no reason to cons. Only the front tyre and suspension are something thing.

Used fully synthetic engine oil for the greatest performance. My personal prefer 1. Castrol power1 ultimate 10w50 super bike. 2. Motul 300v 10w40. For West Bengal weather.
