The original Scout was launched way back in 1920 as one of Indian’s most important models. Since then, the iconic motorcycle brand has introduced a range of upgraded models based on the standard Scout. There was the 101 Scout which was followed by the Sport Scout, both representing racier side of the motorcycle. Now in 2014, Indian has the all-new Scout which re-establishes its forerunner’s legacy.
The new Scout introduces Indian’s first-ever liquid-cooled engine. Producing 100bhp of power and a healthy 97Nm of torque, the new liquid cooled V-twin engine promises to offer an unmatched riding experience thanks to its electronic fuel injection, counter-balancing and a 6-speed gearbox. Indian says the bike’s lightweight chassis enhances the manoeuvrability and fun factor for daily riding.
The instrumentations include a digital tachometer, odometer, trip metre, engine temperature read-out and low fuel lamp. Other features include solo seat which is made using high-quality leather which is strong and durable, stylish fenders, blacked headlight with chrome trim.
The all-new Scout is available in four colours – red, silver and two shades of black. The motorcycle sits alongside the existing range which consists of the Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain and the Roadmaster. It is sold in India through completely-built-up(CBU) route and competes with the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob.
Indian Scout is available in the following colours in India.

Was looking for a fast, powerful, quick cruising bike to ride around town. Found this beauty in silver and black, fitted it with the stage one performance and a few other add on items, and been roaring down the city streets ever since, great looks, sound, and just has an overall aggressive stance. Recommend this horse to anyone looking to enjoy just plain old riding. In a world full of want to be cowboys, why not be an indian?

This bike will cost you around rs.15,00,000. Which is actually worth buying in its segment and also if can afford though. Apart from jokes, this is a great bike for people who love speeds with a great amount of torque produced every-time you put on the throttle means pickup is just awesome and this bike's breaking is as efficient as its speed.A very very good looking and a stylish bike but if we talk about something negative, the only thing which comes to my mind is the gearbox. There is a problem while shifting gear from 1st to the second gear. I think this is not a very major problem i guess, and hence is not a reason to buy this beautiful cruiser bike. Thank you !
