I put lots of bucks for this giant & i am very happy that i choose this giant as my riding soul. I bought it for daily uses and ya i have no regrets to ride z900. The inline 4 cylinder of this bike is well attention sicker when i ride it in city. The giant looks awesome in green colour. The power and the smoothness of the z900 is tremendous.

  • Whopping all rounder which few bikes can match upto, considering the price, quality and performance

I decided on the Z900 after a lot of internet research. So the day I went for the test ride, I knew what to expect. And boy, let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed. The bike looks amazing. Fire up the engine and the sound is music to your ears. Slide her into 1st and you rocket off. For street biking and long touring, this is an all rounder. And for the price tag, icing on the cake !!!!!!!!

This is the best bike in its class. It has the raw power which none of the bikes have (competitors) it has short gear ratio, which helps manage fuel efficiency in the city. The best part is, when you twist the throttle this bike transforms into a beast which never disappoints. The pricing is also very good comparing to its rivals (7.68 lakhs) ex-showroom. I would recommend this "mighty beast" to everyone who love superbikes. When an exhaust is attached the sound is just amazing... Kawasaki love you for this beast..... The most fun cheapest beast on earth...... Just go for it guys. Pros- looks, price, power, refine, maintenance, exhaust sound.Cons-ground clearance, not much technology used.

  • An amazing machine for speed demons and tourers...

    Anthony

The Z900 is an amazing machine. Looks, acceleration, speed, nimble and gorgeous. I own one since over a year and have done around 13000 kms along with a cross country 2600 km tour. My review as so -
    1. Design -- 5/5 -- It looks gorgeous. Sharp yet subtle lines. Colour combo (mine is red) is beautiful. Low stance / seating is great for me (Height 5'7" with 31" inseam)
    2. Quality -- 4.5/5 -- Great quality. Even after 13000 kms, there is hardly any squeaking noise or loose rattling due to vibrations.
    3. Performance -- 4/5 -- Amazing acceleration due to high bhp/ton value. Have touched a top speed of 235 kmph with still some grunt left in the motor. Braking is very good with ABS working well. Some find the ABS too intrusive but I never felt it so. That maybe so due to my 60/40 braking. Handling is very nimble. Even at speeds of 30, I don't feel the weight. Great for city rides. Cornering is a breeze thanks to precise chassis and suspension.
    4. Ride quality -- 4/5 -- Seats are bit hard, especially for the pillion. Stiff suspension makes for bumps reaching the rider. But that again can be negated by suspension tweaking. Forward stance may take a toll on you at low speeds in city, but cruising above 100, the wind force pushes you back enough for a comfortable ride.
    5. Value for money -- 5/5 -- All this performance at the price is a dream come true. All wannabe superbikers can blindly go for it.
    6. Service -- 5/5 -- Kawasaki have a very good service network and professional team who handle your bike and it's problems very well. Heck, initially they even gave me useful advice on handling such a powerful machine. Great stuff there.
    Cons --
    1. No traction control -- Amateur riders need to be very careful since without TC such high power will need dexterous throttling.
    2. Pillion seat may be a bit more softer.
    3. Mirrors look a bit basic. They do a good job though.
    4. Instrument cluster is monochrome. Works well with lot of info but design is basic. Needs a coloured TFT to match other brands like Ducati.
All in all, a great machine from Kawasaki who themselves have a great setup in India.

  • Best naked under 10 lakhs

    Veeraraghavan N

Had a chance to take z900 for a short spin while my versys 650 was being serviced. To start with, the clutch felt little heavy and its very aggressive bike, might need few days to get adjusted with the power of this engine. Coming from versys 650, the z900 felt very compact and easy to ride bike in city. Heat management is wonderful, never felt any heat riding in bumper to bumper traffic being a 948 cc engine. The best part of the bike was the gearing, i was doing 40-50 kmph in sixth gear without the need to downshift which is great. Being a naked, the wind blast is intense as the bike can achieve 100 kmph in no time. I'm waiting for the 2020 bsvi model to be launched to book mine as the upcoming model will have traction control and tft head unit which makes it more modern. All in all, it a true value for money machine from team green and i hope they price the 2020 model competitively as the old version which will help them with decent sales numbers in future.

    Anton D

I decided on the Z900 after a lot of internet research. So the day I went for the test ride, I knew what to expect. And boy, let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed. The bike looks amazing. Fire up the engine and the sound is music to your ears. Slide her into 1st and you rocket off. For street biking and long touring, this is an all rounder. And for the price tag, icing on the cake !!!!!!!!
