I am in my late 30's , I never thought to come back on 2 wheelers (Driving cars for past 15years).Reason to buy,1) Pure fun to ride 😁 .2)Sharp handling and cornering.3) Raw engine noise like someone is taking out frustration by shouting wholeheartedly.4) A typical turbo-like noise from the engine when slowly revving throttle. (Drive turbo engine diesle car and when turbo kicks in , that kind of sound.)5) If handling matters the most, close your eyes and buy. 6) Good build quality.7) Want to feel the same adrenaline rush the way we use to get while riding RX100,RD350,(pulsar 150 and Karizma when it was launched in 2003).8) Mileage is not a concern.9) Want to relive your early motorbike days with the same enthusiasm?10) Can not or don't want to waste money on 650cc bike purchase then maintenance cost (approx 15k per service )11) Trust me I am 120kg and bike goes 0 to 100kmph under 5.8 seconds and with my weight, i am easily able to reach 155kmph every time I ride on Palm Beach Road, with some juice left in the engine to pull more.12) Throttle response is amazing sharp.13) Want to change gear without clutch (up or down both).14) Want to know what sharp braking actually means without tumbling or losing control of machine.15) Want colorful display with many things inside it.16) Want to experience the difference between abs and non-abs, traction control, track mode , rain mode ,street mode , supermoto mode , sliding the bike , wheelie control , adjustable suspension f&b both, navigation display on screen , Bluetooth, phone charging type c.Reasons not to buy ,1) Long ride discomfortable seat.2) Mileage i get is 20-21kmpl3) Not able to concentrate while riding.4) Gets distracted very easily.5) You have sheep behaviour/mentality.

My Unforgettable Journey with the KTM Duke 250
39 weeks ago
Yatharth
Hey, fellow riders! Just wanted to share my thoughts on the KTM Duke 250 – what a ride! I've had the pleasure of owning this beauty for a few months now, and let me tell you, it's been an absolute blast. The Duke 250 is a beast on the road, and I can't get enough of that punchy 250cc engine. The acceleration is quick, and it handles like a dream. Whether I'm zipping through city traffic or cruising on the highway, this bike never fails to put a smile on my face. The suspension is just right, providing a smooth ride even on bumpy roads. The design is killer, and it turns heads wherever I go. The split headlamp, the exposed frame – it's like KTM took style lessons from a superhero. Plus, the riding posture is spot-on, making it comfortable for both short rides to the store and long weekend getaways. The digital instrument cluster is a nice touch, giving me all the info I need at a glance. I do wish it had some extra tech like smartphone connectivity, but hey, I can live without it. The basics are covered well, and that's what matters most to me. You can feel the quality in every ride. The materials used are top-notch, and the bike feels solid. No weird rattles or shakes – just pure, reliable awesomeness. In a nutshell, the KTM Duke 250 is more than just a bike; it's become a part of my lifestyle. Whether I'm tearing up the asphalt or just sitting in my garage admiring its beauty, this machine has won my heart. Kudos to KTM for creating a bike that not only performs like a champ but looks like one too. If you're in the market for a quarter-liter thrill, give the Duke 250 a spin – you won't regret it! Safe riding, everyone.

Tips for other riders
I've found that the Duke 250 is a fairly low-maintenance bike if you keep up with regular checkups. Oil changes and air filter replacements are straightforward and don't break the bank. The recommended service intervals are reasonable, ensuring that the bike stays in top-notch condition without being a hassle. One thing that stands out is the quality of the components. KTM seems to have spared no expense in choosing materials that can handle the rigors of everyday riding. The brakes, suspension, and other vital parts have held up well, requiring minimal attention beyond routine checks. While KTM's reputation for using high-quality components is great, it does come with a slightly higher price tag when it comes to replacement parts. Genuine KTM parts can be a bit pricey, but the upside is they tend to last longer, providing value in the long run.
