Reviews for the KTM 390 Duke generally praise its performance and handling, but some note that it has a few downsides Power and torque The engine delivers power and torque early in the rev range and is predictable on the highway.
Handling The reworked chassis and suspension provide sharp handling, and the bike is easy to manoeuvre through traffic.
Braking The brakes offer excellent stopping power.
Quickshifter The bi-directional quick-shifter is addictive, and you rarely need to use the clutch.

  • Great Bike / Pros & Cons

    Mayur Kanekar

I bought the DUKE 390 GEN 3 ORANGE on 06/09/2024, and I’m absolutely in love with this bike.
    Pros:
    1) The bike is incredibly powerful—it’s a monster on the road. No other bike in this segment performs better.
    2) It’s strictly made for performance-oriented riders, which is the most important aspect of this bike. It’s a no-nonsense machine.
    3) The bike is well-balanced and powerful, with a great design that bike lovers will appreciate. Every second of riding this bike is enjoyable.
    4) Overall, KTM offers a good package at this price range.
    Cons:
    1) The GPS navigation is useless and doesn’t work well.
    2) Better grip tyres are needed for optimal performance. They could provide better tyres without increasing the current price.
    3) Riding with a pillion is not a good idea with this bike.

The best bike I have ever ridden is 390cc the Duke will be in the best place. There is nothing negative to say about my Duke. After purchasing Duke I had the best riding experience in my life. My Duke is giving the mileage of 21-25. I made a little bit of off-roading and then also it didn't get any issues. The best bike design is in the Duke.

    1. Buying experience was good it was a fast delivery within 2 days.
    2. I will say one word for my riding experience “Rocket”. It is so easy to get out of traffic.
    3. Looks are not to everyone’s taste but it looks awesome and of course, it’s KTM design.
    4. So far I have done 3 services with no issues yet.
    5. Pros are so many that I can’t express here but the cons are exhaust it’s too much low noise that even a person can’t tell whether it’s really a 3.8Lac bike. But its design says it’s a mid-expensive bike.
Overall my experience is really good with the Duke 390 Gen 3

Some buyers may find the initial cost slightly higher compared to other bikes in the same category, but the Duke 390's premium features justify this.
    2. Riding Experience
The KTM Duke 390 offers an exhilarating riding experience thanks to its responsive engine and agile handling. Its lightweight design makes it nimble in city traffic and fun on twisty roads. • From mean Machine of 2010 (P220) and Now Duke 390. No bike for almost 18 years and 390 made me a kid again.

    Anurag Prasad

If your top priority is handling, and agility on city roads and can afford a 22kmpl average then, definitely go for this machine. Long-distance rides won't be that comfortable but if you consider the speed and performance for those long distances then you won't be bored riding it even for 500km at a stretch.
Looks are something personal, I did not like it initially but slowly I am falling for it.
Did the first service, which cost me 2200 rupees with the oil change.
Pros- Trend setter machine. This machine will be like the pulsar of 2000's.
Cons- Different engine sound as it clocks an initial 1000 kms. I personally had two different sounds, loving the second sound as it reminds me of the turbo engine of the car.

Sure, the 200 Duke is the bike with which KTM made its impressive first impression in India. But it’s the 390 Duke that really established the orange brand as a maker of properly serious and quick high-performance motorcycles. It brought in a level of focus and explosiveness that had never been seen at this price point, so it’s not hard to see why it’s had such a lasting impact. The 2024 390 Duke that you see in these pictures is the most comprehensive update that the bike has received in its 10-year stint, and having ridden it on road and track, it’s hard to point out too many areas where KTM could have done better.

My Duke is giving the mileage of 21-25. I made a little bit of off-roading and then also it didn't get any issues. The best bike design is in the Duke.
