Truly a Pocket rocket

It's been 6 months, and I really love this bike. Very easy to handle in cities and even in traffic conditions. I love the design language of the bike, it resembles the new Superduke, which I really like. No heating issue as such, you will feel only in traffic to traffic conditions. Under 5000 rpm it is very easy to ride in cities and when you go beyond 5000 rpm it goes like a rocket. Right now I'm getting about 28 kmpl which is good. The suspension of the front and rear are too good as you can easily adjust depending upon your riding style. The only complaint I have on this bike is on seating. Seats are pretty much hard for long rides and for a rider you don't get much space to move around. Also the seat height is a bit short considering my height (6ft). For shorter rider it's made for each other. Also the headlight is poor, even after adjusting the headlight position, the light is not enough on the highway (which is obvious as it is LED), I recommend you add an auxiliary light to it. For city riding the headlights are good but not for highways. Other than that there's no complaint as such. The engine is refined, there is vibration but not too much. Maintenance are servicing are pretty much cheap, costing you around 2500. So yeah If you are planning to buy, you better buy it and you will never regret it.Thanks for reading

KTM Duke 390 is a popular choice in the entry-level sportbike segment, known for its aggressive styling, agile handling, and strong performance. With a powerful 373cc single-cylinder engine producing around 44 horsepower, it offers plenty of punch for both city commuting and spirited riding on twisty roads. Its lightweight chassis and responsive suspension contribute to excellent maneuverability and confidence-inspiring handling. However, some riders may find the seat a bit firm for long rides, and the aggressive riding position might not suit everyone. Overall, the Duke 390 delivers an exhilarating riding experience and great value for riders looking for a capable and fun-to-ride motorcycle.

If you want power, performance, and looks then you shouldn't think twice before purchasing. If you love riding long distances, go on rides then this is it if you have a budget within 4lakh. This bike has more features than any 500 - 600 cc bike on the market. It can easily outperform any bike in its segment.

If your top priority is handling, and agility on city roads and can afford a 22kmpl average then, definitely go for this machine. Long-distance rides won't be that comfortable but if you consider the speed and performance for those long distances then you won't be bored riding it even for 500km at a stretch.Looks are something personal, I did not like it initially but slowly I am falling for it.Did the first service, which cost me 2200 rupees with the oil change.Pros- Trend setter machine. This machine will be like the pulsar of 2000's.Cons- Different engine sound as it clocks an initial 1000 kms. I personally had two different sounds, loving the second sound as it reminds me of the turbo engine of the car.
