I've been riding this bike for the past 7 months and my experience has been amazing. The riding position is surely a bit aggressive but I've come around it. The bike has a significant road presence and is a great eye-catcher. The parts are readily available for this bike and there's no hassle to acquire the parts.

  • KTM 390 is not my personal bike ,but i will pure experience this bike

    Pritalbhai Pramodbhai Vasava

I bought this bike in June/2/2023. First thing first, the looks on this bike is awesome and have a really good road presence, i lose count of how many time i have been ask about by other riders at a traffic red light, second the service quality is awesome since it is tied up with luxury bike brand such as ktm but the problem is finding one luckily the only service center in surat is just 18 km away from my home and not too far from a metro station, lets go to cust service i have a problem with my bike it was not turning on after a my 2nd service i call ktm cust service they sent a guy to my home under 24 hours and fixed the problem in no time kudos to Motovault service center in adajan, surat seems like my fuse box was not place properly on the place were it suppose to be and water was able to go in, the tech identify the problem and fixes it and place the fuse box on it place after that i can wash the bike peacefully without fearing about the electricals, the big orange flag is the spare parts are just damn expensive, interms of engine perfomance the engine is refined and reliable for a 390cc bike and handing is good and the comfort is okay but here is the main thing as a first time rider i thought this would be a good bike to start with but the power is soo less on this bike anything that is over 105km its dangerous the engine is struggling and the rear wheel start wobbling and the vibration is just bad!! but on the bright side, the mileage is awesome it gives at least 45-50kmpl so yeah but personally speaking anyway I would sacrifice mileage for performance after a few months of owning this bike I realized it is just not for me, so the bike is good in all accounts good looking, peppy, lightweight, good handling and consume less fuel but the bike is just not for me.

  • Bang for your buck!

    Arbaaz Panjwani

Cannot keep a count on the number of people who have approached me on the road to know more about the bike.
The bike has superior handling characteristics, and smooth power delivery ( not as aggressive as the previous gen duke/rc) which can upset a few people.
The stock tyres (sportec m5s) provide excellent cornering grip, and moderate grip in wet conditions and is a bit prone to punctures if driven on bad roads. I have been struggling to get aftermarket parts for this bike (like visor, cellphone mount, seat cowl, exhaust pipes, winglets, wrap kit, etc).
The braking performance on this bike is out of the league when compared to bikes from the same category. It has a good initial bite and doesn't fade on extreme use.
I am very impressed with the top-notch features like cornering Abs and traction control, which is noticeable when ridden hard and has proved to improve lap times on the race track.
The bike should have come with adjustable front suspension as it is now being offered on bikes from a similar segment (rr310/duke390/adv390).
The fuel consumption mentioned below is an estimate. It can greatly vary depending on the riding conditions. It can offer great mileage on the highways and can return the litre-class average when ridden in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
One of the issues that concerned me was the time when the TFT display started flickering however it got back to normal after being parked for a few hours. When checked with the service centre about this issue, they said it is because the bike heating up and it stops flickering when the bike cools down. (It actually did stop when the bike cooled down but not sure if that is the actual reason.

Had some issues with the kill switch not responding however a burst of WD-40 fixed it right away. secondly the rear break makes a very unpleasant sound when applied aggressively and hasn't been resolved even after getting it cleaned at the service center.

  • SUPERB MACHINE.. DONT THINK TWICE.. JUST GO FOR IT!!!

    Manan Kalra

From the buying experience to the first service and now approaching the second, everything has been phenomenal. The price for this segment machine is terrific. On-road cost is super cheap and the service cost for a bike of this segment is absolutely peanuts. People talk about aggressive posture, but I feel this is the best that you can have if you're looking for something in an entry-level super sports machine. I own the Moto GP Edition and it's the cherry on the cake when you're there on the road. The machine, in my opinion, takes over Ninja 300, 400 and Royal Enfield GT 650 in terms of looks, reliability, speed, performance and not to forget maintenance. I've covered 700 kms in a day and this machine has definitely outperformed my expectations. It's definitely a high-powered bike and if you're responsible enough you can easily ride in the city as well.
My review has been based on completing 5000kms.
If you're looking forward to buying it just go for it. Don't give it second thought!!!

  • Aggressive and agile exploring the ktm rc 390 sports bike

The ktm RC 390 is a lightweight and powerful sports bike with a 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 43 horsepower and 27.3 lb-ft of torque. It has a sharp and aggressive design with a full fairing that provides excellent aerodynamics and wind protection. The bike features a trellis frame, a slipper clutch, and fully adjustable suspension, which allows for agile handling and precise control.

Servicing of this bike is affordable & cost-efficient moreover The annual maintenance cost is also low.

    Somnath Roy

The bike is really good, it comes with nice looks & moreover, the Moto GP variant comes with more cool looks, The bike seat isn't too stiff so it gives us that comfortable riding posture.
The Moto GP edition looks so cool, The graphics with orange & blue shades it's look good & like KTM's line "READY TO RACE" that suits this bike
Servicing of this bike is affordable & cost-efficient moreover The annual maintenance cost is also low.
Pros:- The power that it has, it's looks, refinement, road presence, etc.
Cons:- price is slightly on the higher side, mileage.
