- Suzuki launches the new Access 125 BS6 in eight colour options
- Standard variants come in five paint schemes
- Special edition models get four different colour options
After unveiling the new Access 125 BS6 last month, Suzuki has now launched the scooter in India. Prices for the new Access start at Rs 64,800 (drum, steel wheels) and go up to Rs 69,500 (disc, alloy wheels) for the special edition model.
The Japanese bike maker has introduced the new Access in three standard variants and two special edition models, with both line-ups being available in different colour schemes. The standard trims can be bought in Pearl Deep Blue, Metallic Matte Platinum Silver, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey shades. Meanwhile, the special edition models are available in Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Dark Greenish Blue, Metallic Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White paint schemes.
Powering the new Access is the same 124cc, air-cooled engine which gets fuel-injection now, as opposed to the carbureted motor of the BS4 model. It churns out 8.5bhp and 10Nm which is a hike of 0.1bhp and a drop of 0.2Nm over its BS4 counterpart. While the scooter remains unchanged mechanically, it gets a few added features such as LED headlamp, external fuel filler cap, battery voltage meter and Eco Assist function which indicates when the scooter is ridden fuel-efficiently.
Suzuki has commenced the sale of the new Access 125 BS6 through all authorised dealerships across India.
