The Brutale 800 is one of the lightest, most powerful streetfighters one can have in its category. The Brutale 800 RR takes that as a base and turns it up to 11.
The 800 RR looks identical to the model it is based upon, but gets additional graphics on the tank and on the panels under the seat, along with red wheel rim tapes, to distinguish it from the standard Brutale 800. It also has the same electronics suite. That means eight-level traction control, three-way switchable ABS, a two-way quickshifter, and a hydraulic slipper clutch. There are four riding modes as well. Top-drawer hardware from Brembo is fitted for braking, with 320mm front twin discs and a single 220mm disc at the back. The RR shares the 798cc three-cylinder engine with the regular 800, but where it produces ‘only’ 108bhp and 83Nm in the latter, the Brutale 800 RR offers 140bhp and 87Nm, and that peak power figure comes only a few hundred rpm higher. The dry weight is 175kg, and MV claims it will take you to 244kmph.
It competes with another Italian streetfighter, the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100, in India.
MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR is available in the following colours in India.
